are NIOS and NCERT syllabus the same? Im preparing for boards from the modules provided from my coaching center (that is, NEET+NCERT syllabus). I will later solve sample qp for NIOS, but would that be enough? As NEET is 11th and 12th syllabus and so is NIOS.

Hello aspirant ,

NIOS and NCERT books help in building the foundation for different subjects . You can make your base strong either referring to NIOS books or NCERT and later you can move on to your coaching modules for advance knowledge which will help you in better understanding of all the concepts . Coaching modules will provide you an edge wide knowledge of the topic which will be far more sufficient for the boards .

Hope this helps .

Good Luck.

i am trying to prepare for NEET which i will be writing in 2024 and i am studying all the lessons of class 11 and 12 my question is: there will be new ncert syllabus for 11 and 12th? if so is it worth preparing for class 11 and 12 NEET now? even if ncert syllabus got changed is my hard work worth?

Pankhuri Kumari 25th Mar, 2021
Hii!
It's good that you have started preparing for the NEET UG entrance exam so early and thus, you need to focus on each and every chapter of each subject to be asked in NEET, that is PCB. Do not worry! The syllabus doesn't change so soon. It has always remained restricted to class 11th and 12th syllabus as base, with slight variations. So, you don't need to worry about it, just focus on your studies from the very beginning. Solve NEET UG previous year question papers too.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

ayanmukherjee045 9th Feb, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you said that you have failed in all three subjects and as we all know due to the pandemic many exams were delayed in 2020 and so you are giving your re exam in the year 2021. So , as per the new syllabus you have to answer your paper on the basis of new reduced syllabus as per the ncert textbooks.

Hi, I am a state board student in class plus 1 in academic year2020-2021.I have started preparing for kvpy sa this month(september). Is 10th and plus1 ncert syllabus and previous year questions enough to crack kvpy sa?

Ayush 16th Sep, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, accordingly yes you can score in kvpy even if you are from 11th standard. As SA category also, there eligibility criteria is you should have passed in 10th with 75 percent and one should be studying in 11th so if you are fulfilling this eligibility you can give KVPY. The cutoff of KVPY is around 45 as per previous year score.

If you want more information then you can visit:-

Hope this information helps you. Thank you
