My nchmct jee rank is 2204 and i was alloted my 4th option in counciling IN THE FIRST ROUND (ashok institute of hotel management) but i want to apply for my 6th option (IHM LAJPATH NAGAR) HOW DO I GO WITH THE PROCESS OF APPLYING TO THAT INSTITUTE? Should i reapply in the second list???

Respected Aspirant,

The placement opportunities for IHM Lajpat Nagar are higher due to the high reputation institute has built. Many Hotel Chains including Taj Hotel, The Oberoi, Hyatt Regency, Lemon tree, The Grand etc. visit the college for placements.

If you are not planning to drop a year then it is suggested that you first book your seat in Ashok Institute of hotel management and then apply for 2nd round of counselling and give it a try, if you get admission there then you can withdraw your money from Ashok Institute and if incase there are no seats left in IHM lajpat nagar you can go back for Ashok institute.

due to pandmic reason i was unable to give NCHMCT exam 2020 on 29th august in my result it is showing absent. what i have to do for admission.???

Hii aspirant
It's really sad that you missed your exam due to covid-19 pandemic
So now one thing is for sure that you will not be eligible for the counselling rounds
Now the options that you have are

You can get admissions in colleges through management quota seat
you can also get admissions based upon your JEE mains score
if you have not appeared for JEE mains as well you can pursue your studies in colleges where you can get admissions without any entrance test
you can also consider option to drop, take one year off, study hard and smart and next year appear for exams and through you dedication and zeal and effort through out the year crack any top level entrance like JEE mains or JEE advanced and get admission in one of the best college.

4th option is the most difficult but nowadays degree without any good colleges do not fetch good packages so I ve explained you the options you have now you can even explore more options as well as consider the above mentioned solutions and contemplate on them and take a wise decision as per your situation
