NEET 2019
Tarun, if you want to study MBBS/BDS/Ayush/Veterinary courses across India, NEET is the entrance examination and the validity of that score is only for 1 academic year. Which means if you have secured 200 in NEET 2019, it can be only used for admissions in 2019 for studying in India. But in case you want to go abroad to study MBBS.BDS in such case, NEET 2019 can be used until 2021 because the validity then increases upto 3 years. But truth be told, 200 is quite a less score for a seat in MBBS even under Management Quota, Tarun. You haven't mentioned your Category but you will need atleast 500 and above if you belong to Reserved Categories and atleast 550 and above if you belong to General Category. This score is lesser for States like Rajasthan, UP, Bihar, Delhi, etc. AIIMS and JIPMER will need more than 625 irrespective of your Category. Even Management Quota Seats that are filled through State Counselling and their remaining seats that are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling, will require more than 200 in NEET. . And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you just have 40 days more to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity
Both the colleges have a equally likely rating of studies. If you want to choose on conveyance and proximity from home, then GMCH Guwahati would be better. You can choose any of the two, both are equally good.
All the Best!!

Vikash, there are 2 things to this. One is that with more than 40% of visual disability you cannot claim PWD reservation because for claiming PWD benefits, the acceptable visual impairment is upto 40%. So if you have 60% visual impairment, you have to appear for NEET under SC Category alone as you will not be eligible for PWD reservation. Second off, you cannot use NEET 2019 score for 2020 if you are planning to study MBBS in India. NEET score is valid for 3 years if you are planning to study MBBS abroad. But if you want to study MBBS in a GMC in India, then your NEET score is valid for only that academic year. In other words, you cannot use NEET 2019 score for admission to MBBS in 2020. In 2019, under State Quota, after Round 1, the cut off for SC Category was 417. Now this is after Round 1 and we do not have the final cut offs and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. If you want a seat in GMC in Bihar under SC Category, you will atleast need 450. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 2 more months to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity.
Hi,
The admission for bachelors of Ayurveda Medicine (BAMS) will be done based on NEET 2020 marks. The cutoff mark is different for each state and varies based on the number of candidates appearing and difficulty level etc. 470+ marks will be a safer side to get admission in govt medical college.
I hope it helps.
