can I get private bams college in maharashtra with qualifying marks in neet 2022

piyush263001 16th Aug, 2022

Hello,

I will be answering this query based on your expected marks, that you mentioned in your previous query.

First of all I would like to tell you that your expected marks don't lie in the cut off marks range if you are a General Category Candidate. Though cut offs change evey year, but it is very likely it will remain same or increase compared to previous year cut off.

------ NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

------ Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Since it is most likely that you wouldn't be Qualifying the NEET Examination, you can still pursue BAMS.

If you wish to take admission in BAMS course then I must inform you that it is mandatory for every aspirant to qualify the NEET examination in order to become eligible for admission in courses such as MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS in India.

But there are certain colleges in Indian states such as Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu that offer BAMS courses without considering the NEET qualifying criteria. Here are the list of the colleges -

IN MAHARASHTRA -

• Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Ayurveda Katraj- Dhanakwadi

• Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

• Ashtang Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

• Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

IN KARNATAKA -

• A.L.N.Rao Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College

• A.M. Shaik Homoeopathic Medical College

• Alva’s Ayurvedic Medical College

• Alva’s Homoeopathic Medical College

IN TAMIL NADU -

• Ayurved College, Coimbatore

• Dharma Ayurved College and Hospital

• Sri Sairam Ayurved College & Research centre

I hope you find the answer helpful

Thank you.

Dear sir my brother son expecting 535 Marks in neet 2022,he belongs to BC C in Andhra pradesh. Any possibility to get govt seat in medicine in A.P

Akansha Jha 16th Aug, 2022

Hi there,

Being able to secure a government seat in any medical college for MBBS depends more on the rank rather than marks which varies every year depending on a lot of factors like difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates appearing etc.

At this marks you can expect your rank to be around 60,000 and going by previous year's data government seat for your category was allotted at 1 lac rank also in colleges like Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada and Guntur Medical College, Guntur etc. So you definitely can secure a government MBBS seat. You can check out this article to know about the previous year's cutoff of different colleges- https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-ap

neet 2022 bvsc better or bhms ?

LALBEE 16th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great. Both bhms and bvsc are excellent streams. Both BHMS and BVSC are excellent programmes with high value in their respective fields. Given that more and more people are choosing alternative medicine, there is good potential for BHMS. Therefore, you can pursue it if it interests you. You ought to base your choices on your preferences.

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

On such score you can go for some Deemed Institutions through AIQ counselling, so as per the previous years data you can go for following deemed institutions through AIQ counselling :-

Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospt., Puducherry

Sri Lakshmi Narayana Inst. of Med. Scien., Puducherry

Meenakshi Medical College Host. and Res. Inst., Chennai

Shri Satya Sai Medical College and RI, Kancheepuram

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

I got 450 marks in NEET 2022 can I get mbbs seat in govt college of obc category in April or telephone?

Anurag Khanna 16th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your Home state so considering them as Andhra Pradesh according to your profile. If anything wrong then kindly correct me in the comment section below.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

So according to the data, on such marks and category you have very less chances for any government seat because the cut-offs in 2020 were above 500 out of 720 but you can have good chances of getting management seat in some medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh under state quota according to previous year's cut-off.

As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you have chances in following colleges :-

Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Chittoor

Dr Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences, Chinoutpalli

GSL Medical College and General Hospital, Rajahmundry

Katuri Medical College and Hospital, Guntur

And some more......

1)I scored 410 marks in neet 2022 from general category from Rajasthan can I get admission in this college (rajiv lochan ayurvedic college).. 2) what is the fee for bams complete course with hostel...

Adeeba 25th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

The cut-off for medical colleges are varying every year so it's quite not fixed, but as you are showing your interest in the private college, it's good according to the marks you scored.

Rajiv Lochan Ayurvedic Medical College is a private medical college and doing good since 2002. To get in through All India Quota as you are from Rajasthan I guess you would definitely get a seat in BAMS but it does depend on your category as well. Just attend the counseling properly and keep a check on the official site of this university if comes an update: http://www.rlamcollege.org/ , here is the official page of Rajiv Lochan Ayurvedic College.

The duration of BAMS in Rajiv College is 66 months and the fee is 6.42 L. The campus hosts its own hostel facilities and hostel fees are around 5k/month.

As per the marks, you scored I think you should apply to a few more prestigious deemed and private colleges

Below is the link to predict your rank :

And here is the link to predict the colleges you can apply to according to your rank:
