In general, black pens are favoured in application forms since they are more exact than any other colour pens when scanning your application form using a scanner, which is why we are requested to sign with a black pen. It is not required, however it would be preferable if we used a black pen.

Images should be uploaded in the prescribed specifications as given below :-
-->> Passport size photograph (2.5'*3.5") (10-200 Kb in JPG format),
-->> Signature (4-30 Kb in JPG Format),
-->> Class 10th certificate and category certificate(50-300 Kb in PDF Format),
-->> Left-Hand Thumb impression (10-200 Kb in JPG format) and
-->> Postcard size photograph (4"*6")(10-200 Kb in JPG Format).
No, size of postcard size photograph and passport size photograph is different which is mentioned above and you should strictly upload all the images as per the above specifications to avoid any future complication in your NEET Application form.
So you should modify the images during the NEET correction window which is now live from August 11th to 14th 2021 and you can follow the given steps to make correction in it :-
** Visit the official site of NEET 2021and click on the button saying' Correction in NEET UG 2021 Application form'.
** Now login using his login credentials.
** Edit/delete/modify the details whichever required in NEET 2021 application form.
** After making corrections just click on 'Preview and Submit' and then preview the form if it does not require further modification then just submit it.
** Now you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number and e-mail, just enter it and your correction will be submitted.
** Now take the print out of the NEET correction slip for future references.

It's not mandatory but just preferable to have your name and date of photo written on your photograph. But yes, your background of photo should be white. I n case of any discrepancies in your uploaded photograph in your application form, NTA mails you on your registered Email id. As you haven't got any mail from nta, it means you are fine with your photographs and application form and it is completely your choice if you want to upload a new photo with white b ackground or not.

Neet correction window can be used from 11th August to 14th August.
Here's how you can use it to change the uploaded images :-
* visit neet.nta.nic.in
* login using your application number and password
* An option to change the images will be there on your screen, click on it
*Now you can change your uploaded images
*Then you will get an otp on your registered mobile number which you will have to enter in order to confirm your correction.
