is it compulsory to use black pen to signature in neet application form, please answer

Manisha nayak 14th Aug, 2021

Hello student,

Hope you are in best of your health. So the answer to your question is :-

In general, black pens are favoured in application forms since they are more exact than any other colour pens when scanning your application form using a scanner, which is why we are requested to sign with a black pen. It is not required, however it would be preferable if we used a black pen.

Hope this helps

I have applied the Neet application form before class 12 Cbse result. In the application form there was a field called code and it had only one code that is 01. Now I got my Cbse results and I am appearing for Neet 2021 for 1st time. What code should I mention now?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 11th Aug, 2021

The NEET code 01 is correct for your case.

As you are a CBSE 2021 appearing student the code is applicable for you.

The Code 1 applicable for:

  • Students who are appearing for the boards in the present academic session.

Now as your results are released then you have to provide the marks and other details when ever asked by the NTA. So you have nothing to worry about. You should focus on your studies.
