I am maharashtrian am i eligible for telangana state counselling and how many chances of getting mbbs seat my marks is 450 (gen ews) category

piyush263001 17th Jan, 2022

Hello,

You can participate in the Telangana state NEET counseling, but you will only be eligible for Private Colleges, You won't be eligible for Government medical colleges since you don't have Domicile of Telangana.

----- To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every year depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

•  MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to  increase compared to last year.

I am from A.P state, I attempted NEET 2021, i want to apply for karnataka state neet counselling 2021, for that i need an eligibility certificate, can you please explain how to apply for the eligibility certificate and in which site.

dishtiv 11th Dec, 2021
Hello aspirant!
Hope you are doing well

For getting admission in Karnataka Medical colleges you need an eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of health Sciences except for those who have passed the exam from Karnataka Pre university board, Bengaluru or RAjiv Gandhi university of health Sciences, Karnataka.

So as you are from Andhra Pradesh and you have not cleared exam from Karnataka board then you have to get an eligibility certificate.

You can get the certificate from official website of rajiv Gandhi university of health sciences
http://rguhs.ac.in
(If this is not clickable, copy paste it on search engine you will reach the website)

There you will get an option of Online Eligibility Application form. There you can apply for it.

can I apply income certificate in the name of my mother

Anurag Khanna 3rd Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As the query is for NEET counselling, so you have to get the income certificate on your name but it includes the overall annual income of your family from all sources, so the income certificate on your mother's name would not work for NEET counselling.

You require following documents for NEET counselling process and also note that some additional documents might be asked by the state counselling authorities as per their norms :-

  1. NEET Admit Card
  2. NEET Scorecard or Rank Letter
  3. Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)
  4. Class 12 certificate and mark sheet
  5. ID proof (Aadhar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)
  6. Eight passport size photographs
  7. Provisional Allotment Letter
  8. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  9. PwD Certificate (if applicable)

if i am alloted a college in round 1 or round 2 can i return the seat by not joining college or not taking admission is there any penalty?in maharashtra state neet counselling 2021.plz guide me on this...

Priya Bansal 23rd Sep, 2021

Hello

Once you are allotted a seat you have to join. If you don’t, the seat is cancelled and will be allotted to someone else in the next round and you will not be able to participate in further rounds.

So please take this advice to research your options and only then fill up the form. Don’t opt for a college you don’t want to join. Not only does it trouble you but it also reduced the chances of anyone else getting that seat.

Hope this answers your query. Good luck!
