I have not mentioned in NEET application form that I am disabled. But I have disability certificate now. Will it be used in NEET counselling? It was not made at the time when the NEET application form was being filled? Reply please?

Anurag Khanna 28th Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Now you cannot avail the benefits of PwD reservation category because to get PwD reservation you should have uploaded your disability certificate in NEET UG Application form and now you cannot use that disability certificate for NEET UG, but you can use it in counselling, and in counselling you can get reservation benefits of PwD criteria if you have valid PwD certificate.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

last alphabet of my name in 12th marks sheet has dissappeared little bit due to typographical error I am so much worried about it if I got admission in medical college, during neet counselling does it will get cancelled during document verification and also for admison in medical collge too ?

thakurvishesh1 16th Jul, 2022

The quick answer is that NO, your candidature will not be affected because of a typographical error in your marksheet. You just have to get an affidavit made and you'll need to xerox that affidavit and have to produce it at the time of counselling for scrutiny. Just do this and then relax, as your work is over now.

So, don't worry and focus on your examinations. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Ive filled the details of 11th class in NEET 2022 form. I do not have the marksheet but remembered the marks I had. my school doesnt have the marksheet as well. will I be rejected from NEET counselling if I do not have 11th marksheet?

Anurag Khanna 28th May, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

No there will not be any issue because it is not necessary to put class 11th details in the NEET UG 2022 Application form and if you have mentioned it correctly but don't have marksheet then also it will not create any issue.

Now very few days are left for NEET UG 2022 as it is to be conducted at various centers on July 17th, 2022 so you can follow some tips to bind it up :-

>>>>>> Revise all the notes.

>>>>>> Practice previous year papers as many as you can.

>>>>>> Just have proper view of all formulas.

>>>>>> Stay calm and cool, don't get over-stressed.

I have participates in national level sports in grade 7(not won) will it be considered during neet counselling?? please answer

Karishma Sawhney 25th May, 2022

Hi Pragati,

Getting an MBBS seat through sports quota is only possible at the state level and not through All India Quota. The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must hold a district level, state level or national level certificate in any sport (eg. Basketball, Tennis, Chess, Karate, Polo, Cricket, Baseball) . After qualifying the examination, the candidate will be required to submit the sports certificate while attending the counseling procedure.

If you have participated, and not won any sports game, unfortunately, you will not be eligible to avail the sports quota.

Hope it helps!

i have bonafied himachali certificate but did my schooling from delhi from 1-12 . my parents are in pvt job at delhi. am i eligible for himachal neet counselling?

Karishma Sawhney 29th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

To be eligible for the 85% state quota seats in DU MBBS admission , candidates must have passed Class 12 from any school in Delhi- NCR, affiliated with boards CBSE, ICSE or JMI. Hence, as you have passed your class 12 from Delhi, you will be eligible for Delhi state counseling.

For Himachal Pradesh state counseling-

  • Candidates whose parent/s are bonafide Himachalis and working outside of Himachal with other State Govts, shall be eligible for State quota in Himachal only if they are not eligible for the same in any other state, where their parent/s work.

  • Candidates whose parent/s are bonafide Himachalis and serving/ ex- servicemen in Defense/ Paramilitary forces shall be unconditionally exempted from the criteria around schooling.

  • Candidates whose parent/s are bonafide Himachalis, and who have passed at least two exams (from classes 8 to 12 or equivalent) from recognized Schools situated in the state of Himachal, and affiliated to recognized Boards of the country.

Hope it helps!

I got 19(+2) (+30 in practical) in physics, 18(+3)(+30 in practical) in chemistry and 32(+30 in practical) in biology but passed in physics and chemistry with grace marks Am I eligible to seat in NEET counselling ? I am from OBC PLEASE REPLY!!

Anurag Khanna 9th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Yes you are eligible to appear in NEET UG 2022 (if you are pass in all theory papers of PCB apart from practical), this because as per your category i.e. OBC, you should have aggregate in PCB either equal to or more than 40% and you fulfil this criteria it doesn't matter whether you have got grace marks or not

To appear in NEET UG you need to satisfy some eligibility conditions :-

For 10+2 or equivalent :-

>>>>> You need to pass separately in theory as well as in practical of PCB.

>>>>> If you belongs to General/UR category then your aggregate of PCB (Theory + Practical) should be equal to or more than 50%( 40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for PwD).

>>>>> You should be pass in English subject as well.

So if you satisfy all above conditions then you are eligible for NEET UG 2022 with respect to the criteria of marks.

Complete NEET UG ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA :-

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** Now there is no upper age limit for NEET UG.

I got 19+2 in physics, 18+3 in chemistry and 62 in biology. Am I eligible for NEET counselling process...? Please reply.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 5th Apr, 2022

Hi

With your mentioned marks have you even passed physics & chemistry? I am guessing you are from a board, where you have passed  these.

Which category do you belong to?

To be eligible for neet, you should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Now,

Your aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  is

=  (19+2)     +  (18+3)       +    62

=   104

=( 104 /  300  x   100 )%

= 34.6 % i. e lesser than 40% , So irrespective of the category you belong to you are not eligible for Neet .
