NEET Counselling
AIIMS and JIPMER together will bring in approximately 1700 seats and all these seats will be filled through All India Counselling. Ideally when there is an increase in the no.of seats,t he cut offs should reduce. But in 2020, almost 2 lakh more Candidates registered for NEET than 2019. But given the reputation of AIIMS and JIPMER, Candidates would want in to take admission in them which means the competition is going to be tougher. And because all these seats will be filled through All India Counselling and not State Counselling, the cut offs might increase due to heavy competition. And also cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hello,
The mbbs/bds admissions in India are based on NEET scores. The expected cutoff for NEET 2020 is as follows:
OBC/ SC/ ST – PH
119 – 107
Such linguistic certificates for neet counselling will consider you under the reserved category while other medical colleges will consider you as a general category student.
(These liguistic certificates will give you an edge over other in that particular college only)

It is important to fill the NEET application according to the details the same way they show in your 10th class marks sheet. But if you have filled it according to UIDAI Card, please get an affidavit stating that both the names Ramesh Kr Sahu and Ramesh Kumar Sahu belong to the same person and in fact they are the names of the same person. This will not create any problem during counselling or admission process because you have a supporting document. This is necessary because NTA has closed its correction window on May 31st and you cannot make any changes to your application form now. NTA also doesn't entertain any requests for changes in the application form. So the only next better thing is to get an affidavit done. A local advocate can get this done for you. . Hello Aspirant,
To be eligible for Andhra Pradesh state counselling, you should have studied in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 7 consecutive years in 2 or more local areas.
But if you have studied in Andhra Pradesh from 8to 12th, which is only 5 years and hence you are not eligible for participating in Andhra Pradesh state NEET Counselling.
But if either of your parents have been employed with State or Central Government, then you are eligible for 15% unreserved seats of AU region.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
