how much important neet marks in neet eligibility??

Palak kumari 21st Sep, 2020

Hey aspirant,

As you know that every year the cutoff varies on various factors such as difficulty level of the paper, no. Of students appeared in the exam etc. Also, you didn't mention your category so I'm not able to suggest you the marks but if you belong to general category then you must score an aggregate of 50 percentile and for reserved category would be lesser. For more elaborated information use the link mentioned below-

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

Is there any NEET eligibility criteria for droppers regarding NEET 2020 marks to apply for NEET 2021?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Sep, 2020

The criteria remains the same. You should be 17 atleast by December 31st of 221 and also to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. I have scored 59.6% in boards 2020, will I be eligible for NEET 2021? And what is the probability of any change in boards score for NEET eligibility 2021. Thank You.

Soumili Majumdar 8th Sep, 2020
Hello there,
The eligibility criteria for NEET states that the candidates must have passed their 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as their core subjects from a recognised board. Candidates should score atleast 50% aggregate (general category) for PCB subjects. For SC, ST and OBC the minimum requirement is 40%, and for PwD it is 45%. Since you have fulfilled this minimum requirement, you are eligible for NEET 2021. This minimum percentage remains constant every year, and is less probable to change. So you need not to worry.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!

For NEET eligibility i got phy 44 ,Chem 65,& bio 60 is it enough to get seat i am PH Catagary

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 20th Jul, 2020
Hi

Neet eligibility criteria says that, to be eligible one must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50  % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if you belong to general category , or  at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /stor least 45 % in aggregate of PCB if belongs to PH category.

So , being from pH category you need at least 45% aggregate in PCB to be eligible.
Now,
Your aggregate in PCB is
44+65+60
= 169
=(169/300*100 )%
= 56.3% i.e greater than 45% , so you fulfil above aforesaid % requirement for Ph category  and thus you are eligible for neet examination
