I have completed my 10+2 in commerce with Basic Mathematics so should I complete only physics or both physics and Standard maths in NIOS. in simple words , is basic mathematics in 10+2 eligible for becoming a commercial pilot.

Nitin Kumar 22nd May, 2024

No, Basic Mathematics in 10+2 is not eligible for becoming a commercial pilot in India.  To become a commercial pilot in India, you need Physics and Mathematics (Standard or Applied) as mandatory subjects in your 10+2 education.

NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) is a legitimate option to complete your missing subjects.Earning a Standard Mathematics (not Basic Maths) certificate from NIOS along with Physics would fulfill the eligibility criteria for commercial pilot training.

If feasible, consider re-appearing for your 10+2 exams with Physics and Maths as subjects. This might be a quicker option compared to NIOS.

Is 159 neet score is enough to get aseat in vishnu college for BDS

Rupsa Banerjee 15th Jun, 2025

Dear aspirant,

A score of 159 is significantly below the expected cut offs for both governmental and private colleges. So it's unlikely to secure a seat in BDS in Vishnu Dental college. Admission to BDS program through NEET examination typically requires a higher score, generally above 400 in private colleges and 450-470 in governmental colleges. Though reseserved categories have lower cut offs but a score of 159 is even below that , so it's not enough to get a seat in Vishnu dental college for BDS.

I am a student preparing for Neet UG, this year its my first attempt , I just want to score 250 in Neet by focusing only on Biology. I have only 11 days left, can I still score 250 in Neet even I start from today from scratch ?.

Tanya Gupta 24th Apr, 2024

Hello,

Scoring 250 in NEET solely by focusing on Biology in just 11 days from scratch is an extremely challenging task. While it's not impossible, it would require an intense and highly focused study schedule. You would need to cover a vast amount of material in a short time and also ensure a deep understanding of the concepts.

It is highly unlikely to prepare the vast syllabus in such a short span. Rather, I recommend you to give NEET next year with much better preparation

Hope this helps,

Thank you

Rishitha 18th Mar, 2024

The admission process and eligibility criteria, including reservation quotas, vary from one institution to another. Additionally, admissions criteria may change from year to year.

Uttarakhand, have a certain percentage of seats reserved for domicile candidates. Since you mentioned domicile in Uttarakhand, you may be eligible for seats reserved for domicile candidates in institutions within state.
