Hello,

Regarding the state quota for Gujarat, eligibility criteria can vary, but generally, it is based on the domicile or residency of the candidate. Since you mentioned that you are a resident of Haryana and your son completed his 9th to 12th in Jamnagar, Gujarat, it is best to check with the Gujarat authorities or NEET officials for specific eligibility requirements. Hello, 1. Could someone please tell me if ICSE is better than CBSE is better for NEET? 2. What after NEET? 3. Is the NEET score accepted abroad to study medicine abroad? Or what is the process of studying medicine abroad? Wishing every aspirant, all the best!

Tanya Gupta 22nd Jan, 2024

Hello,

1. Both ICSE and CBSE are recognized boards in India, and they provide a strong foundation for NEET preparation. The choice between the two depends on your personal preference and the teaching methodology that suits you best. It is important to focus on the NEET syllabus and prepare well, regardless of the board you come from.

2. After NEET, you can pursue a career in medicine by getting admission to a medical college based on your NEET score. You will need to go through the counseling process and secure a seat in a medical college. Once you complete your MBBS, you can specialize in a specific field through postgraduate courses and pursue a career as a doctor.

3. NEET scores are generally not accepted abroad for studying medicine. If you are interested in studying medicine abroad, you'll need to appear for entrance exams specific to the country or university you wish to apply to. Each country has its own admission process, requirements, and exams. It is important to research the specific country and university you are interested in and understand their application procedures. You may also need to fulfill additional criteria like language proficiency tests and visa requirements.

A student studies MBBS 1st year and in next NEET gets a better rank and wants to go to a better college. do he need to study the 1st year again.

Tanya Gupta 19th Jan, 2024

Hello,

No, if a student gets a better rank in NEET and wants to go to a better college for MBBS, they do not need to study the 1st year again and waste a year. They can directly join the higher-ranked college and continue their studies from where they left off like in your case 1 year.

Tanya Gupta 27th Jan, 2024

Hello,

NEET UNDERGRADUATE is primarily for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. If you are interested in courses like BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) or Pharmacy, you may need to appear for different entrance exams specific to those courses. For BPT, some colleges may have their own entrance exams, while others may consider scores from exams like CET (Common Entrance Test). Similarly, for Pharmacy courses, you may need to appear for exams like GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) or state-level entrance exams. It is also very important to check the specific requirements of the colleges you are interested in to know which entrance exams you need to take.

Hope this helps you,
