ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 11th Oct, 2020
Hi

You don't need to worry at all dear even if you are doing Bsc and want to give Neet examination.

This is because,

Even though you are doing Bsc you are still eligible for Neet examination provided
you must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50  % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if belong to general category , or  at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st

And if you managed to qualify Neet examination, you can get a seat in medical college as well

Do frog and earthworm morphology and anatomy topic is there in neet syllabus for 2020

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2020

Kishor, 99% of the questions asked in NEET, come from the officially designated syllabus. And NEET Biology syllabus is as follows:

Diversity in Living world

Structural Organization in Animal and Plants

Cell Structure and Function

Plant Physiology

Human Physiology

Reproduction

Genetics and Evolution

Biology and Human Welfare

Biotechnology and its applications

Ecology and Environment

MCI has omitted topics related to Frog and Earthworm and only Cockroach has been included. But there have been times when questions regarding Frog or Earthworm have been asked in the exam. When you are studying the Structural Organisation in Animal and Plants, also please refer to the topics Annelida and Amphibians. It is better to be prepared than to be sorry. If you are looking for Online NEET coaching then we do have NEET Knockout package which has more than 5000 videos and concept videos. This coaching is backed up by Artifical Intelligence and has previous question papers back dated to 17 years. I study actual NEET Portions from 9th std (not basics or fundamentals orginal advanced neet syllabus) I am currently thorough with biology and above average in physics and below average in chemistry. is that okay

Rishi Garg 18th Jul, 2020

Yes, it is very good if in class 9th, you are above average in Physics (actual syllabus of NEET), and below average in chemistry. It is okay to be below average. Because you have enough time to prepare for chemistry. But you need to revise the syllabus at regular interval so that you don't forget anything related to syllabus.

Normally, students start their preparation for NEET after their 10th but its good if you are preparing from 9th itself.

Hope it helps.

Is cockroach earthworm and frog included in neet syllabus 2020?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 6th Jul, 2020

Hello aspirant

No, frog and earthworm are not included in NEET syllabus of biology, in your NEET syllabus there is only brief account on the digestive, circulatory, respiratory, nervous and reproductive for cockroach only.

But it has been seen that many times questions in NEET have been asked from earthworm and frog, for example in NEET 2017 questions were asked from frog.

So it's better if you study , frog and earthworm as well for your neet 2020 examination.

I hope that you find this helpful

Thankyou

70 chapter out of 100 if you complete in neet syllabus ,can you score 500+ ? plz someone tell me....

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Jun, 2020

Hi

Whether you will get 500 marks  with just 70 chapters depends  upon which those 70 chapters are which you have completed as there are chapters with high weightage in NEET examination and at the same time there are chapters with very low weightage in NEET examination.

Chapters with highest weightage in NEET examination is given below subjectwise

PHYSICS

  • Optics - 10% weightage
  • Semiconductors- 9%
  • Dual nature of matter ,atoms and nuclei-9%
  • Thermodynamics -9%
  • Electrostatics-9%
  • Current electricity -8%
  • Electromagnetic Induction & Alternating Current-8%
  • Laws of motion & work power energy-7%
  • Magnetic Effect of Current & Magnetism-5%
  • System of Particles and Rotational Motion-5%

CHEMISTRY

  • Coordination Compounds- 9%
  • p-Block, d- and f-Block Elements- 9%
  • Thermodynamics- 8%
  • Equilibrium -6%
  • Chemical bonding and molecular structure-5%
  • Solutions- 5%
  • Organic Chemistry: Basic  Principles & Techniques- 4%
  • Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers :-4%
  • Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids-4%

BIOLOGY

  • Human physiology:- 20%
  • Genetics and Evolution:-18%
  • Diversity in living organism:- 14%
  • Biology and Human welfare - 9 %
  • Reproduction:- 9%
  • Cell: Structure and Function:- 9 %
  • Plant Physiology:- 6%
  • Ecology and Environment:- 6%

So , you do above chapters to 500 marks .

  • After completing each chapter , you should go practice  mcqs and numericals of the same chapter
  • Make short notes of important formulas and concepts for each chapter and Keep revising it
  • Solve previous NEET year questions , it will let you know the examination pattern type question etc so that you can prepare accordingly
  • Go through NEET mock test papers , it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination

You can prepare well using our neet knockout for which link is provided below
