sir, l scored 632 in neet ug 2020,belong general category, from West Bengal. can l get Kolkata Medical college? state quote... If this is not possible, which colleges are available for my admission?? state quote....

S. Saha Student Expert 30th Oct, 2020
Going by last year's cutoffs, the cutoff score for Medical College Kolkata was 614 and the respective all India rank was 5027 for general category state quota  candidates. Now you have scored 632 which is greater than last year's cutoff but your rank would not be around last year's cutoff rank. So in that way, you have very less chances of getting Medical College Kolkata. But other government Medical colleges are achievable with this rank such as
  • RG Kar Medical College And Hospital
  • IPGMER Kolkata
  • ESIC Medical College Joka
  • Calcutta National Medical college
  • College of Medicine and Sagar Dutta Hospital
etc. But keep in mind that these are based on last year's data and this year the cutoffs can change. To get complete list of all colleges you can get based on your rank use this link http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

neet ug 2020 450+ marks i will get chances in west bengal private collage for mbbs pl reply

Anurag Khanna 20th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As you have not mentioned about your home state so considering it as West Bengal according to your profile and category as General.

See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly whether you get seat or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

But although according to the marks you have mentioned in the question you have chances of getting into some Private Colleges and Deemed Universities but not in Government Medical Colleges according to previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

To have a list of those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Yes the Karnataka state NEET 2020 counselling for every round for eligible candidates will be done on online mode this year. There will total 3 rounds followed by a mop-up round for Karnataka MBBS BDS admission 2020.

can I get government BAMS college in Uttar Pradesh with 412 marks in neet ug 2020 and belong to general category with up domicile

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Sep, 2020

You will need atleast 500 for a seat in BAMS in a Govt. College. This is because with a score of 412, your rank might be approximately between 109937-120258 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . For a seat in BAMS you will need atleast 500 and above if you belong to General Category. This is for Govt. Colleges. And so a score of 412 might be a tad less. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. I scored 412 marks in neet ug 2020 with general unreserved category ... is there any chance to get govt mbbs college in UP with up domicile

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Sep, 2020

With a score of 412, your rank might be approximately between 109937-120258 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . In 2019, under State Quota, 575 marks secured a seat in General Category. That was the cut off. With 412 marks it is tad difficult. You might get a seat in Private Medical College but not a GMC. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. I am SC candidate .In my calculation I am getting 410 marks in neet ug 2020 will there be any chance of getting seat in AYUSH 1st counselling

arpan00002 22nd Sep, 2020

Hello aspirant,

You asked about the chances of getting seat in colleges under AYUSH.

For BAMS course, neet score required : 450+ for govt, 400+ for semi govt, & around 340+ for private colleges.

For BHMS course, neet score required: 310+ for the private colleges.

So, with 410 marks, you have chances to get seat in AYUSH.

You may go through this neet college predictor tool:
