See the NEP 2020 isn't applied till now. It is targeted to be applicable by 2024. Thus if you seek admission in any course in the year 2021 atleast then the NEP 2020 isn't applicable and you have to obey the rules those are applicable. So yeah! Till now there are differences in Commerce student and a science students and still the streams are applicable.

Actually we all are notified the new education policy but it not applicable right now. And this pandemic situation everything going to a mesh. If any new policy will start in this situation everything will be more meshy. But if anything happens in upcoming education year then we all know from government rules and regulations. But this time if you want to join BTech you have to study physics, chemistry, mathematics and you can choose biology as additional subject.
All the best.
