NID is a design school that teaches design in a variety of subjects, whereas UCEED administers tests to qualify students for IITs and some design schools. IITs have seats set aside for students who have completed the UCEED programme.

Hope you are doing great. Only the candidates can apply for NID DAT who have passed or will appear for Higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examination in the admission year from any of the recognized board of education such as CBSE,IB, ICSE or other equivalent. The candidate who is of the age below 20 and studying 10th or 12th appearing will be eligible to write the exam.
