is management and Nri quota same @neet pg 2021-md/ms

Abhishek Roy 2nd Oct, 2021

Ideally both are different Quotas, Management and NRI. Often what happens in Semi Government and Private Medical Institutes, due to lack of NRI Students applying across PG Courses, the NRI Quota seats are merged with Management Quota or are also considered at par with the same wih a Higher Tuition Fee than Government Quota Seats.

I completed my 10th from Saudi Arabia from CBSE affiliated school. Then I continued my 11th in India. My father still working in Saudi. We have permanent address of UP. Will I be eligible le for UP state quota for admission in MBBS or I will be considered for NRI quota only. Thanks!

Atul Singh 24th Sep, 2021

Dear Student,

You will be only counted as a Uttar Pradesh if you have the address proof of that like Domicile certificate, Aadhar card, and some other.

If you have all those two document then you will be eligible to take part in the counselling as a home state candidate of Uttar Pradesh

good Luck :).

Ive studied in andhra Pradesh up to class 12 can i get an admission in karnataka government agriculture college through NRI quota

nilangemeghna 21st Sep, 2021

Hello Vinambra,

Persons of indian origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are included in the NRI quota which is 15% reserved and remaining 85% reserved for state quota.

You do not come into the OCI or PIO category. You will deserve All India Quota (AIQ). If you belong from a category (OBC, SC, ST ,etc) then You need to have a central caste certificate { ex. For OBC category - Central NCL } to get admission in your category otherwise you will be considered as General category candidate.

Hope this helps

All the best for your Future!

Hello, I got 138 marks in neet 2021 and Im from general category, can I able to get a seat through NRI quota in private medical college?

Ranjan shah 18th Sep, 2021
As you belong to general category and your marks are vey less that is 138 so you should not able to get a chance to take admission in college through counseling

If you want to take admission you go for management quota in college as 10% seats are reserved in many private colleges
You go for it

Hello,

The exam which you have appeared for ie, NEET is considered as one prestigious exam in India because doing any source of course related to medical you need a qualification in this exam with a good marks to get a great college. Now in your case the first thing which you can do is that you can use rank predictor app and get your rank so that you will get  basic idea that where actually you stand and then the only thing is that you can compare your rank with the cutoff list of your desired colleges.

The best colleges for BSc Nursing in India are:

1. AIIMS, New Delhi.

2. PGIMER, Chandigarh.

3. Christian Medical College, Vellore.

4. Banaras Hindi University(BHU), Varanasi.

5. JIPMER, Pondicherry.

The above mentioned colleges are quite good for this respective field, so you can surely take a look.

Thank you..

for nri quota is my fathers first cousins relation valid?

suchayitaanusaha 7th Apr, 2021

Hello,

No your father cousin relation is not valid for NRI quota dear.

As per the guidelines set by the Supreme Court of India, here are the eligibility criteria for NRI Quota:

  1. One of the parents must be an NRI residing abroad.
  2. The person sponsoring the education must be an NRI residing outside India and a first-degree relation with the student.

That means for government rules your one of the parents must be an NRI residing . But you didn't mention why you ask this question. If you want to know about the NEET examination then i like to tell you there are no NRI quota in NEET examination but NRI candidates are applying for examination and admission as NRI category.

All the best.

I am a student with OCI card (USA citizen), but studying in Bangalore since KINDERGARTEN till 12th Grade. I would like to know my eligibility criteria for admission into PES University through PESSAT EXAM and JEE exam ( if I will go under general category or NRI quota).

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 31st Mar, 2021

hi,

see in case,  an individual has been living in India for minimum 182 days in the previous financial year or has resided in India for  60 days in a particular year and has lived in India for a minimum of 365 days in the last four years is considered to be  a Resident of India. since  you have completed your 12th grade from Indian state you do not belongs to NRI quota. see In nri quota there is less number of candidates, so competition levels seems lower than other category seats, but fees structure for NRI quota is high compare to  any other category.

so I suggest you to apply as general category.

I am doing my IGCSE abroad, if i go to India to study +1 and +2 and if appear for NEET, do i have a chance of getting MBBS seat in general quota ? or does it have to be in NRI quota?

suchayitaanusaha 27th Jan, 2021

Hello,

If you are staying outside in India and complete your 10th and 12th then you are a NRI candidate. If you want to give NEET you can give it. But in admission process you have to admitted here as a NRI candidate. So when you have to fill the form fill as a NRI candidate not a general candidate. Then any problems will not occur in your admission dear. Prepare yourself for NEET examination.
