You secured 5.9L rank in jee mains let me be very honest with you. You cannot get any college in this rank because the cut offs are far high in case of general category. I would advise you to go for the private college entrance examination or the state level entrance examination like comedk, SRMJEEE, VITEEE, ,MHTCET, BITSAT.
If you want to check out the colleges you can get, you can take the help of the college predictor link given below -

Good Luck!!
Greetings!
Respected sir/mam, with a percentile of 20.79 and category rank of 259651, you don't technically "qualify" in JEE main, because what generally qualification means being able to write JEE advance. However you can still apply for JOSSA and CSAB counselling, as for that you don't need to get any fixed percentile...
Now coming to question weather or not you can get NITs, well the answer to that is no... at this rank it is not possible to get any NIT at this percentile
Although you can use the following predictor to get more information on which college you can get
Hey aspirant
For the above given mark your percentile will be in between 87-91 percentile. For the above percentile your rank will be between 1,20,000-1,30,000. This is the expected rank and percentile. For more details on college prediction refer the below link https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp
Hey,
You got two results for the two exams you gave for JEE Mains (session 1 and session 2). You don't need to worry about that your marks decreased as the best result is counted for cut-off.
So here your session 1 result will be considered for JOSSA councelling as well as cut-off for JEE Advanced.
Hope this clarifies your doubt.
