National Talent Search Examination is an offline scholarship examination for class 10 students to encourage them for higher studies in the science field. NTSE has released the official notice from its website ncert.nic.in. NTSE application forms will be released by the different state conducting bodies in the month of October itself. The admit card for the same will be released in the month of November for . Stage 1 states includes the states of Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Andaman and Nicobar Island. The exam date for these states is December 12, 2020. While for the other states and UTs it is December 13, 2020. Here are the steps you can follow to join NTSE exam 2020
Visit www.ncert.nic.in and click on apply for ntse.Fill in your details and then click on submit. After that download the ntse application form (in which you will have to fill your basic details and fix your photograph etc). You will have to get the form attested from your principal after which you have to submit the application form along with the application fee in the Liaison Office. All the best.

The examination is conducted every year at 2 levels: Stage – 1 (State level) and Stage – 2 (National level). Stage 1, exam will be held in November 2020 and stage 2, exam will be conducted on June 2021. NTSE 2020 Stage-I Exam Pattern
Stage-I is conducted at State/UT level by the concerned State/UT authorities. Candidates have to select 1 language from English or Hindi to solve the paper. Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark and there is no negative marking at this stage. The paper is divided into two parts:
Part 1 – Mental Ability test (MAT): This part contains logical and analytical reasoning based questions. This section tests the candidate’s reasoning, ability to think, evaluate, ability to discriminate and visualize. A total of 50 questions is to be answered under this section.
Part 2 – Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): This part consists of 150 questions from Science, Mathematics, Social Science and English Language. This section judges the student’s reading abilities, interpretation, evaluation and general awareness of the subjects.

as per the eligibility criteria prescribed by NCERT only indian students who are pursuing their studies from schools in india are eligible to appear in the stage 1 exam , NTSE stage 1 exam is likely to be held in the first week of november 2020.
