This is dependent on the university you want to opt for. IGNOU allows the student of the BTech Food Technology to opt for the MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics.

B.Sc Home Science with specialization in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Or PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition or its equivalent Or Graduate (B.Sc. Hons.) or equivalent (MBBS, BHS etc.) from any of the following backgrounds: Home Science/ Food Science and Technology, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical along with the DNHE or CNCC or CFN offered by IGNOU. (Simultaneous admission for CFN/CNCC also permitted).

Yes, you can apply for it. You just need to show them your 12th pass certificate and apply for it. You need to be a BIPC student. It costs around 3.4L to complete the 4 year course.

Candidates must complete B.Sc. with any Life Science subject in Part-II/ B.Sc. (Vocational), Food Science and Quality Control and B.Sc. with Nutrition as one of the subjects from any recognized university/institute.
Admission for MSc Food Nutrition is done by the colleges on the basis of graduation marks and or entrance examinations such as GATE, AIJEE, CFTRI , etc
You need to score 50% above for getting admission in MSc courses for Andhra University and there will be merit list prepared on the basis of results in the common entrance exam.
