Hello aspirant
Your OBC cast certificate will be applicable to other states also , whether it is for job purpose or education purpose. The condition is that it should be approved by central government. If it is approved by state government of your native state then it will be applicable in your own state only . If your OBC Certificate is approved by Telangna Government then it will be applicable in Telangna state only.
The verdict of Madras High Court was reserved on the case filed by State Government and political parties seeking 50% reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) in medical and dental seats surrendered to the All India Quota (AIQ) every year, until 28 th of July,2020.
Now, the Madras High Court has cleared OBC quota in AIQ seats in State Govt.-run medical collges. The contention of Medical Council of India has been rejected that AIQ in non-central institutions was created at the discretion of the Supreme Court in 1984, and hence only the latter could order OBC reservation under that quota.
The judges have directed the Centre to constitute a committee to fix the percentage and other terms for OBC reservation from next year, so that the current year admission process doesn’t get disturbed.
Hello,
In any entrance examination there is always some reserved seats and some unreserved seats. Unreserved seats are for general candidates and reserved ones for the special category candidates. Obc candidates are in those special category. So there is no chance in anywhere to opted general one for the obc.
Hope you understand.
Thank you.

In July session 12,00,000 candidates are expected to appear then your overall expected rank can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100. So if you have scored 97-98 percentile your rank will be in between 24,000-36,000 and your rank based on category will be in between 4000-5000. Considering 2019 cut off you may have chances of getting seat in NIT, Delhi, NIT, Agartala, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Goa, NIT Hamirpur but if you want to get seat in NITs like Surathkal, Calicut, Trichy your need to score above 98 percentile.
