I've seen people pursuing MBA just because it sounds fancy and they have nothing else to do, but they later regret it. Weigh all your options, doing an MA in English is not a bad option either.

Being a management student of this university, I would say a big NO if you really wanted to do MBA than just go for LPU it is best university for management and yes for other subjects also. The marks obtained by you in Class 10 and 12 will not hamper your chances to appear for the entrance examination. In order to appear for the CAT , candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates who belong to SC, ST, and PwD (PWD) category).

However, marks obtained by you in Class 10 and 12 will play a major role to get a shortlist for the WATPI/ GDPI rounds, and during your final selection. These scores will be used by business schools while calculating the composite score. Some business schools give a lot of priority to your Class 10 and 12 marks while some business schools don't even consider your past academic record during the selection process. Therefore, you have good chances to get admission in good MBA colleges subject to the condition that you must perform well in the entrance examination followed by the WATPI/ GDPI process.

Further, you can appear for any entrance examination such as CAT, XAT , etc. subject to the condition that you must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for that particular examination.
