I checked the opening and closing rank of 2019 om the uptu website. lets say the closing rank for OBGL category for a course in IET is 4001 so, a person with 4000 rank (general), will they take this rank for OPGL category or a person who has 4000 female rank, will they take this rank for OPGL categ
Dear Candidate,
The ranks for various categories differ from each other. Colleges have different closing ranks for different categories. As per your doubt, you may or may not get admission based on the last year's rank. It is just an estimate & many factors come into consideration before actually saying about the closing rank.
Hope this helps.

i am getting 480 marks in neet 2020 and from j&k OM... will i get any chances in govt medical colleges??
Hi
It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
But when we go through previous data then you do hold a chance ,
For example,
in neet 2019, 476 marks for general category get a seat in Government Medical College, Rajouri under Jammu and Kashmir state quota
So, with 480 marks you hold a chance in a Government Medical College under Jammu and Kashmir state quota
Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

I have got 93.3825973%ile in jee 2020 &,My CRLrank:71,600&OBC rank :20,133 .which NIT can i get based om my score
With your rank in JEE Mains 2020, you have less chances of getting a seat in any government engineering colleges like NITs IIITs and GFTIs.
As you are from OBC reservation category, you might get some seats in some newer NITs. So please go for all the rounds of JOSAA counseling and also the CSAB spot round so as to further increase your chances of getting a better seat.. You might get non core branches like food technology, biomedical engineering, etc in some of the good. For some good branches you might get in remote NITs like
- NIT Srinagar
- NIT Manipur
- NIT Mizoram
- NIT Arunachal
- NIT Nagaland

om ka niyam and culombs law and savrat law
Hello Ganesh
I will discuss these three important laws one by one as follows :-
Ohm's law:-
It was George Simon Ohm who formulated the Ohm’s law. He stated that the electric current that flows through a wire will be directly proportional to the potential difference across the ends when the temperature remains constant. That constant is nothing but the resistance. The resistance of a material is constant when the temperature remains constant. V = I R. Ohm’s law is considered as one of the most basic law in the field of electronics. Thus
Voltage V = Current * Resistance = I R
Current I = Voltage / Resistance = V / R.
Resistance R = Voltage / Current = V / I
Coulomb law-:
Charles-Augustin de Coulomb,a French physicist in 1784, measured the force between two point charges and found that the force is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the charges and directly proportional to the product of charges (magnitudes only).
Generally, the statement, let’s say there are two charges q1and q2.The distance between the charges is ‘r’, and the force of attraction/repulsion between them is ‘F’. Then
F ∝q1q2
F ∝1/r2
F = k q1q2/ r2
where k is proportionality constant and equals to 1/4 πε0,the symbol ε0is called epsilon naught and it signifies permittivity of a vacuum.
The value of k comes 9 × 109Nm2/ C2when we take the S.I unit of value of ε0is
8.854 × 10-12C2N-1m-2
Coulomb also stated that like charges repel each other and unlike charges attract each other. This means charges of same sign will push each other with repulsive forces while charges with opposite signs will pull each other with attractive force.
Biot Savart's law:-
Biot-Savart's law is used to determine the magnetic field at any point due to a current carrying conductor.
This law is although for infinitesimally small conductor yet it can be used for long conductors. In order to understand the Biot-Savart's law, we need to understand the term current-element.
Current element It is the product of current and length
he current element is taken as a vector quantity. Its direction is same as the direction of current.
