The college offers amazing subjects for learning Operations Management, and the syllabus is the USP here. Of course NITIE might be a better college in terms of the rankings and stuff, but the syllabus and content offered at SIOM is unparalleled. And this is one reason which converts the summer interns from SIOM to PPOs at most big companies.
The first year might seem a bit too loaded with too many subjects, but the way you find yourselves getting involved in the system here would guarantee that you enjoy it. There is enough scope for your fun activities, events and festivities, extra learning, etc in spite of an overload of lectures and presentations in the first year.
The faculties have a very open mind, and they will help you beyond limits you can dream of. Being a very small campus has this advantage of personal bonding between the faculties and students, as well as among students. it all deoends on your interest but if you are confused, go for finance as it is the most sort after branch. It will take you to the financial and banking sector. you may compare the syllabus of all the streams and make a final choice.

Salary wise also, finance has better options to offer but it can be boring so pls go by your interest.

General Management deals with the continuous process and works with no clear objective.

Whereas Operation Management deals with intermittent process and works with single or multiple objectives.

The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow is the best school for such courses. There are although other schools like Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay and so on.
