From which course in mba does ITC recruit most ( marketing / finance / operations )
ITC ltd. being one of the top companies in India recruits MBA students for various profiles. As, a company requires people to work in every department. So, it not generally specific that the company is going to hire only marketing students. It is totally dependent on the job openings in the company and the work profile. As seen the ITC recruits students from all the three domains but the job openings in marketings are considerably high than the other two.
What are the best colleges in India for MBA in supply chain management, logistics and operations management?
Hello Aravind,
In the current scenario, logistics and SCM are booming areas, Operations management also has a major role in the current scenario. Job opportunities in the related area are increasing every day. I can suggest you some institutes where you can study MBA in Logistics and supply chain management. My friends and cousins are either studying there or have studied.
Amity University - Amity has a campus in Bangalore also but I am told that it is not very promising. Although they are providing good placement for their students there are many areas where they need to improve. So please make the choice carefully and cautiously. Highest package in the recent year was 14 LPA.
Lovely Professional University- One of my friends is passed out from here in 2016, now he is working with an MNC as a state head of their sales. Their last year placement also good, the highest package was 21 LPA. Recently Amazon hired few students at a package of 28 LPA.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education- This institute is coming under Manipal University. Highest package was 18 LPA.
Symbiosis- Symbiosis Institute of the premier institute for MBA. Highest salary package in the recent year was 24 LPA.
Presidency- This is a top university from Bangalore. Their MBA programme is very famous, especially the city like Bangalore, getting a job is an easy task. Because it's an IT hub.
Hope this information will help you. Best wishes.
Good Luck!
Which management specialization should I go for: operations, finance or international trade (business)?
The decision solely depends on your skills and interest. Others could guide and consult you if you giving basic details. Operations mostly deals with production, logistics and supply chain. Finance deals with raising, allocation and management of fund for business. All three has its own scope and the scope may change from industry to industry.

I have completed my B.com in 2014 and i have work exp. of 3 year in Finance and Operations, and the question is Part time or full time MBA?
Hello Pradip,
In my opinion, you must go for full time MBA. It would lead you a lot of preference due to the work experience.
And you must fill CAT, GMAT and MH-CET in my opinion . As it will open the options like FMS , DMS, JBIMS which have low fee.
Giving GMAT would help you to get into ISB Hyderabad, which is a very good deal if you have work experience.
Hope this helps.

How good is operation management at TAPMI ? And how is the campus placement if I talk about the placements in core Ops Role?
There is any best book of special writer to prepare operation management
So exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT exams you will have to clear first.
Also in CAT exams, or any other management exams you won't be asked for operations management as this is a thing you will choose later.
So CAT syllabus has mainly 3sections and total 100 questions.
There is no negative marking in CAT exam.
The exam pattern and CAT syllabus you can check completely here.
Good luck.
