Hi, This field is very common and always in need so you will never feel a deadline in this field. Operations management deals with creating business leadership roles and these people have a role in working on organisation profit and success. Now out of these 2 I will suggest you to go for 2nd option that is operations because it has much scope and good packages but to be clear includes more effort and work timings than HR field. Operations Management is a field like logistics and supply chain management which deals with skills to push into business leadership role and responsibilities in the organisation. It deals with designing and controlling process of production and business operations of goods/products. This mainly focuses on delivery of the product on time, and successfully turn inputs to outputs in an effective manner. To apply in this you should have a graduation degree with 50% minimum and apply for relevant MBA entrances to get shortlisted for bschool. Hope this helps you.

What is the package we can expect after doing MBA in operations management?

If you are a fresher then you expect a minimum package of 2lacs-4 lakhs on an average. If you have few years of experience then you can expect a package of 6-9 lacs depending upon the company you are working with. With good amount of work experience the package can rise upto 15 lacs along with the designation.
