WHICH BOOK IS BEETER FOR UNDERSTAND CONCEPTS IN PHYSICAL , INORGANIC AND ORGANIC CHEMISTRY FOR NEET.I DO SELF STUDY AT MY HIME AND DO NOT ATTEND ANY COACHING CLASS.

Mayank Chowdhary 10th Jul, 2020

Read more and more NCERT to clear your concepts and learn things especially for organic and inorganic chemistry. Inorganic chemistry NEET MCQs maximum will be straight forwards only NCERT based. For organic part, they will be twisted. So I will prefer you to solve the MTG NEET CHAMPION for both of these. You can further go on to for GRB for inorganic and Arihant or Pradeep book for Organic chemistry.

For physics, refer the HC VERMA, NEET MTG FINGERTIPS, MARVEL OR ERRORLESS UNIVERSAL SELF SCORER book to solve the MCQs.

Can you suggest me a best book for organic chemistry for NEET preparation?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jun, 2020
Hello

For your organic chemistry for Neet examination you need to follow following books:-

  • NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII :- Ncert chemistry is really good for Neet, you should go through all the solved examples, intext questions and exercise questions as well

  • MS Chauhan (Organic ) :- It is a great book to clear all your concepts regarding reactions in organic, there mechanism etc
It has wide variety of questions to solve,
large number of MCQs in each chapter,
questions similar to that of Neet level are there for better practice.

Also,
more than the book what is more important is how you read it,  what you need to do first is go through the chapter , the reactions in it and then go through it mechanism as well which will help you to understand how the reaction proceeds and then write two- three times the reaction and its mechanism on your own and then practice some questions on the same reaction and you need to follow this process for every reaction in organic and after finishing in Chapter go through the MCQs, and soon you will be good at organic.

o have a backlog of class 11th and for class 12th organic chemistry we should have clear concepts of 11th so please tell me how to cover that i am currently in class 12th( new batch)

Udit Narayan 18th Jun, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Please make sure that you clear the backlog of class 11th and than you can move ahead with your class 12th exams, Its not very difficult though to clear chemistry exams. All you need to do is be very thorough with Class 11th and 12th NCERT book and all the concepts in it, if you are a CBSE student, Else if from any other board than just follow your board's described book of chemistry. this will give you a good idea of the subject and than if you are able to complete the book and want to check your understanding get any solved previous year questions booklets and solve it again to check. You can always get some reference books for better understanding, but in the era of internet I dont feel you will need different books to understand anything, all the related information are present in Youtube and you can learn from it.

Happy learning.!

which chapter should I complete before start 11th organic chemistry

Pritam Singh 3rd Jun, 2020

Hey there

for organic chemistry of class 11 you will find that it starts from the basics itself like general organic chemistry. If you have little prior knowledge of atoms and reactions which i guess starts from first chapter then you will find organic chemistry easy. also knowledge of periodic table is required in small extent. After you complete your GOC you will be having basics of organic and can move to hydrocarbons etc.

good luck

which chapter should complete from 11th to start organic chemistry of 11th

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 3rd Jun, 2020

Hello,

To cover Organic chemistry, you should start with Basic of Organic chemistry. You can cover Haloalkanes and Haloarenes first. That chapter is Basic one. Then You can move for aldehydes chapter, then  Alcohol-chapter.

These two chapter is important as you have to remember the structure of atleast 4-5 example chemical compound.  Book have upto 10-20 but initially go for 5 atleast.

Then you can move toward amino, polymers, biomolecules. This almost covers organic chemistry of 11th class.  after covering it once, you can revise it like once in a day regularly so that you won't forget or get confused.

Make notes and read them. there must be end chapter excersie you can practice them too.  Refer OP tondon for question bank.

Hope it helps!
