i am currently in 3rd year btech. i want to give both gate and cat .i am so confused. what should i do? very less time is left. i cant prepare for both at a time. how i will get to know for which field i am most interested?

Anuj More 10th Sep, 2020

Dear Student,

It's okay to be confused about what one is going to pursue in future. There are many factors to be considered before choosing your exam. Both these exams require maximum dedication & focus. I'd suggest you to take a pen & paper. Write down your interests, your weaknesses, why you are giving both the exams, what do you want to gain from those exams. Find reasons within yourself for you attempting that exam. Talk with your elders/parents about how you should go ahead. Consult career counselor about the same.

Hope this helps you.

Hello Aspirant

MDS Orthodontics VS MDS Oral surgery

First of all ,there is nothing called scope or demand,it depends on what is your interest and what type of clinical skills you have in that branch and your clinical knowledge in that field.
Scope mainly depends on
1.communication skills with the patient

3.your interest in the field
4.your knowledge about the field

i got 349 state rank in andhrapradesh for mds will i get seat in orthodontics or endodontics in b category?

Vishwaksen Gouda Student Expert 9th Jul, 2020

Hello

There are 20+ colleges in Andhra Pradesh which accepts seat through the NEET-MDS . As you have secured 349 rank and expecting seat in orthodontics or endodontics category under b.

There are little chances you to get in into your desired course. Because there are few seats available in Andhra Pradesh. So it will be depended on the number of applicants and vacancy from your state.

Thank you

I hv scored 373, with 7800 rank in neet 2020 mds.Bc - b reservation. Im from telagaana state. can I get seat in Maharashtra state in orthodontics or endoddontics..?

Animesh Vats Student Expert 24th Feb, 2020

Hi,

Well honestly speaking the chances for you to get a seat seems moderate and not sure. The rank that you have score might get uplifted due to your category and that is why it might be easy for you to get a seat but still the chances seems moderate because mds seats are not that much in number.

I hope my answer helps.

All the best.
