Based on your JEE Mains Paper-1 Feb Attempt and March Attempt it can be said that it is better to go for Private Engineering Colleges rather than waiting and wasting 1 year time. You might not be sure whether you get admission in Goverment College next year. If you wish you wait and have faith that you definitely get government college next get then you can drop if not got for Private Engineering Colleges.

According to the previous year cutoff, 90+ percentile is good score for TANCET MBA 2021 for getting Good Colleges. Cutoff may vary every year it depends on some factors like Number of seat available, total number of students appear in the exam, Difficulty level of exam and Reservation Criteria. The official Cutoff for TANCET 2021 has not been released yet. Soon Anna University, Conducting body of TANCET 2021 on behalf of Tamilnadu government, will release the official Cutoff for TANCET. As you haven't mentioned your category and marks, it is not possible to predict the MBA colleges based on your rank. Admission will be given on the basis of rank or score in TANCET 2021, not on the basis of percentile.

The cutoff is not released by the authorities and it will be released on the official website.Cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam,difficulty level of paper,category etc factors,so its quite tough to say exactly the cutoffs. 78 percentile based on previous year analysis, you can have chances in the following colleges:

sri krishna college of engineering and technology

bharathiar university,coimbatore

college of engineering guindy,anna university

st.josephs college, thiruchirapalli

SRM arts and science college

bannari amman institute of technology

note that these are based on previous year cutoffs,as cutoff varies each year,so are your chances into colleges

A percentile is a comparison score between a particular score(you ) and the scores of the rest of a group(the other students gave same exam ). It shows the percentage of scores that a particular score surpassed

For example =If a child's weight is at the 50th percentile line, that means that out of 100 normal children her age, 50 will be bigger than she is and 50 smaller. Similarly, if she is in the 75th percentile , that means that she is bigger than 75 children and smaller than only 25, compared with 100 children her age.
