see there is only few colleges available which offer master of science course in petroleum geology or geo sciences, however admission is based on qualifying exam score or entrance test conducts by the university.
Maharaja Saiju Narayan university boroda offers m.sc course in petroleum geology of 2 years of duration. eligibility criteria is candidates must have completed graduation course in relevant discipline with 50% aggregate marks in graduation.
banaras hindu university offer m.sc in petroleum geo science course of 2 years duration.

As you mentioned you are pursuing Petroleum engineering, I would suggest you to write GATE exam as it is related to your domain. And you can grab a PSU if score good marks. You can have two attempts to write the exam, one in third year and next in the final year. Or you can go to any IIT or any other good college to pursue M.Tech, if you are not interested in government job. To know more about Gate, visit here:

UPSC is Union public service commission which conducts exam for recruitmemt of civil services officers such as IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc. UPSC exam is comparatively difficult than GATE exam. Ji han agar kisike 99 percentile aa rhe hain JEE-Main 2021 February mein 60 questions attempt krne pr aur wahi usi candidate ke same percentile aarhi hai 60 question JEE-Main 2021 March attempt mein toh uski value same hogi aur uski rank bhi almost aas-paas hi hogi. Percentile system banaya hi is liye gya hai, kyuki ho skta hai ki JEE-Main 2021 February ka paper tough rha ho jis wajah se aapki kam question pr achi percentile aa jaye aur wahin JEE-Main 2021 March attempt ka paper thoda easy ho jiski wajah se zyada question krne pr bhi utni hi percentile aayi ho, is wajah se result banane mein partiality na ho isi liye percentile system banaya gya.
Some insights of JEE-Main 2021 :-
> To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteria but yes if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category.
> Also from this year according to New Education Policy the JEE-Main examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and other regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.
> In JEE-Main 2021 there will be total 90 question out of which you have to attempt only 75 (25 from each section) and there will be two sections for each subject, Section-A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)(20 compulsory questions) and Section-B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value (10 numerical based questions out of which only 5 are compulsory to be attempted).
> In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking for Section B.
> All question will be of 4 marks and in MCQs there will be negative marking of (-1) on incorrect attempt.
