what is good bpharmacy or bsc veterinary

It depends on your interest & capability. Both courses are good but as per the scope I would suggest you for B.pharmacy. There are very good career opportunities for Pharmacy candidates. In private sector Jobs are available In Pharmaceutical Marketing, Production, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacist, and Medical Underwriting.

There are entrance exam for B. pharmacy like GPAT 2017 Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test, NIPER JEE, BITS Pilani. Some of the institutes take their own entrance exams for the same.

if I get less than 50 % in two subjects can we get admission to pharmacy

Please check the below provided criteria -

The candidate who is interested to study Bachelor of Pharmacy must have done 12th with physics, chemistry, biology / mathematics and English as the main subjects with minimum 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories. You have to qualify the entrance exam that is conducted by top universities.

After a M.Pharm in pharmacy there are various opportunities for you you can either go for higher studies like Ph.D through GATE or you can go for jobs in the chemical companies, research institutes, Pharma companies ,even universities and colleges to get a good salaries.

There are many types of pharmacists like Community pharmacists, Clinical pharmacists, Consultant pharmacists and Pharmaceutical industry pharmacists.

  • Community pharmacists is a person who works in retail stores such as chain drug stores or independently owned pharmacie
  • Clinical pharmacists works in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings.
  • Consultant pharmacists advise healthcare facilities or insurance providers on patient medication use or improving pharmacy services. They also may give advice directly to patients, such as helping seniors manage their prescriptions.
  • Pharmaceutical industry pharmacists work in areas such as marketing, sales, or research and development. They may design or conduct clinical drug trials and help to develop new drugs.
  • Lastly, Some pharmacists also choose to work as college professors. They may teach pharmacy students or conduct research.

Pharmacists are not only chemists or druggist and their work is not just limited to filling prescriptions or verifying instructions from physicians on the proper amounts of medication to give to patients. There are many other duties he performs like - 1) Check whether prescriptions will interact negatively with other drugs that a patient is taking or any medical conditions the patient has 2) Instruct patients on how and when to take a prescribed medicine and inform them about potential side effects they may experience from taking the medicine Give flu shots and, in most states, other vaccinations 3) Advise patients about general health topics, such as diet, exercise, and managing stress, and on other issues, such as what equipment or supplies would be best to treat a health problem 4) Complete insurance forms and work with insurance companies to ensure that patients get the medicines they need 5) Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and pharmacists in training (interns) Keep records and do other administrative tasks. 6) Teach other health-care practitioners about proper medication therapies for patients.
