I got 19k rank I am bc e category student of bipc . will I be able to get in any pharmd colleges in hyderabad

Hello there,

  1. With a rank of 19,000 and belonging to the BC-E category, your chances of getting admission in Pharm.D colleges in Hyderabad depend on the cutoff for the year.

  2. Usually, Pharm.D admissions in Hyderabad for BC categories close around ranks between 10,000 to 20,000, but this varies by college and seat availability.

  3. You might get admission in less popular or private Pharm.D colleges, but chances in top colleges are low.

  4. It’s best to check the latest counseling cutoff lists or contact colleges directly for accurate info.

  5. Also, keep an eye on spot admissions or management quota seats which sometimes have more flexible criteria.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

HEY THERE!!!

Is there an entrance test for Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate) at Annamacharya College of Pharmacy?

  • No, in general, there is no different entrance test for the Pharm D (PB) course in Annamacharya College of Pharmacy if you are B.Pharmacy graduate.
  • Admission is primarily on your B.Pharmacy marks (merit-based).

How to apply and what is the last date for admission?

  1. You need to apply directly to the college by filling up their application form online or offline.
  2. 2025 admissions are now open, and the college is inviting applications for all PG courses, viz. Pharm D (PB).
  3. Last date: The college has not indicated a specific last date for Pharm D (PB) admissions on their official portal, but admissions typically go on until seats are filled or until the counseling/admission process for pharmacy courses in Andhra Pradesh concludes (typically by July/August).
  4. It's best to apply early to book your seat.

Summary

  • No entrance exam for Pharm D PB at Annamacharya College of Pharmacy if you have B.Pharm.
  • Admission is merit-based (your marks in B.Pharm).
  • Apply directly to the college-admissions are open now.
  • No fixed last date announced, but apply early (ideally by July/August 2025).
  • If you want the actual last date, call the college admission office directly for the latest update.

About requirement of entrance exam: For admission in Pharm.D. (PB) course usually you need to require a valid score in AP PGECET OR GPAT. Basically there is no admission on merit without any exam, on the official website it says admission is on exam based only.

Total seats that are available in Annamacharya College of Pharmacy for Pharm.D. (PB) course are 10 seats per year. So for securing your seat you need to score well in entrance test.

You first may need to appear and register yourself in AP PGECET or GPAT exam.

For admission into a PharmD program, you may need to take entrance exams like TS EAMCET, AP EAMCET, KCET, GPAT, AP PGECET, or TS PGECET, WBJEE. Some colleges may also accept scores from NIPER JEE or other university-specific entrance exams. NEET is not typically required for PharmD admission.

How to get admission in this college for pharmD course

Sajal Trivedi 9th Apr, 2025

Hii There,

Completing your higher secondary education (12th grade) with courses like biology, chemistry, and physics is one of the eligibility requirements that you usually need to meet in order to be admitted to a PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) program.  Certain universities could have minimum grade or percentage requirements.  Although some universities may accept results from national or state-level pharmacy entrance exams, admission is typically determined by an entrance exam, such as the GPAT in India, or a test particular to the university.  Following eligibility, you must fill up an online application, send in the necessary paperwork, and be mindful of deadlines.

Additional stages like counseling or an interview can be required, depending on the school.  Your academic standing and entrance exam results will determine your selection, and if selected, you will need to fulfill requirements including document verification and payment of the required fee in order to be officially admitted.
