Hi Dipankar,
Photography is a more practical field and jobs here are based on the skills of the student. DCOP does offer jobs to students who are good at what they do and for those willing to learn and polish their skills, it sends them for various events for work experience which are paid. Generally speaking, the average satrting salary of a photographer in India is about 2-5 Lakh.
Hello,
In order to get a seat in Osmania University for BFA photography you need to take a test that is conducted by the University via online and to perform well in this test you need to be very strong in you basics. Actually what they check in you is whether you are able to think innovative and a good presence of mind and if your strong in these aspects and that online test would be a cake walk for you .
Dear Sutha, cut offs change every year and are dependent on various factors like no.of candidates appearing for the exam, no.of candidates qualifying the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. While the cut offs change every year, the formula remains the same. For General Category, it is 50 percentile of the top NEET score, for PWD, it is 45 percentile and for OBC,SC,ST, it is 40 percentile. Now between 2018 and 2019, the cut offs increased by 15 marks. So it might go higher by 20-25 marks easily this year when compared to last year.
