Physical science
Hello Aspirant,
As per my knowledge Dyal Singh college is more preferable in terms of placements and faculty . Around 8% of students from BSc Phy. Science got placed last year from Keshav Mahavidyalaya and from Dyal Singh college from B.Sc. in computer science (Hons), about 68% of the students were placed.
In terms of Faculty both the colleges have highly qualified and mostly were professors and assistant professors.
Hope it helped !!!
IISER Berhampur is well rated and it has well reputation. So you can surely go for it. To know about it course structure just visit the official website and you will get a plenty of info there.
You can study geophysics as your elective subject or specialization but geology may not be possible. Although geology and geophysics are quite of a same but have some difference which are almost negligible in the job sector.
I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
B.Sc. Physical Science is a 3 year programme about the earth sciences. The course teaches the student about the theoretical as well as practical aspects of physical sciences
As such, the minimum eligibility for this course is to pass 10+2 in the subjects- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The other subjects are subject to changes in different regions and are usually choice based, but the three Science subjects are absolutely essential.
Can you elaborate upon your second part further? The best 4 are chosen on the basis of how well you score in them in the boards. Are you implying these subjects? I hope you got a general idea about the course and the requirements!

Hii,
It is quite difficult to compare such colleges. What is recommended is to make comparison of such universities according to some specified criteria. The criteria may be all India ranking, services they provide, campus life, research domain placement and other things. this will be helpful to you. I am sharing carrers360 college comparison tool for the same. Hope it will help.

Hello Pooja!
I am happy to know that you are interested to become a teacher. It is a noble profession. Now as you are pursuing your BSc in physical science, first wait for your graduation. Right after you graduate, you have to complete a BEd degree for becoming a government school teacher .
I would suggest you to apply for Regional Institute of Education(s) as they are directly a constituent of NCERT, New Delhi under the central government. Completing your BEd degree from here will land you in top government schools in India like KVs and Sainik Schools. There are five RIEs, i.e RIE Ajmer, RIE Bhopal, RIE Bhubaneswar, RIE Mysuru, and NERIE, Shillong.
All you have to do is to apply for RIE CEE after your graduation. You have to score at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree to be eligible for admission to the program (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/PwD candidates). You will fill your application under the physical sciences group . After qualifying for the RIE CEE, a merit list is prepared according to which you are admitted to your preferred RIE to pursue your BEd.
Go through the official website of RIEs to get complete information:-

All the best!
