Class 12th physics chapter electric field and electric chargall derivation

SHUBHRADIP ROY 20th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

For Class 12th Physics, Chapter: Electric Charges and Fields , key derivations include:

  • Coulomb's Law : Formula for force between two charges.

  • Electric Field due to a Point Charge : Deriving E=kQ/r2.

  • Electric Field on Axial Line of a Dipole : Finding E along the dipole's axis.

  • Electric Field on Equatorial Line of a Dipole : Finding E perpendicular to the dipole.

  • Torque on an Electric Dipole in a Uniform Electric Field : Deriving τ=pEsinθ.

  • Electric Field due to an Infinitely Long Straight Uniformly Charged Wire (using Gauss's Law) .

  • Electric Field due to a Uniformly Charged Infinite Plane Sheet (using Gauss's Law) .

  • Electric Field due to a Uniformly Charged Thin Spherical Shell (using Gauss's Law) .

These derivations explain how electric fields and forces behave around charges and dipoles

I have studied BSc Mathematics. My cgpa is 9 . I will get admission in MSC Electronics in Vidyasagar University. I want to know if it is right for me to do MSC Electronics? Can I get any job after this or should I do B Ed. I have no interest in teaching and I was not good at physics as well because I did not get a good teacher. Or suggest me something else.

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 16th Aug, 2025

Since you have a strong background in Mathematics with a 9 CGPA, pursuing M.Sc. Electronics may not be the right choice as it requires strong physics knowledge, which you’re not comfortable with. Since you’re also not interested in teaching, B.Ed. won’t suit you either. Instead, you can explore options like M.Sc. Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or MCA, which align better with your skills and open careers in IT, finance, research, and analytics. Certifications in Data Science, AI, or MBA later can also give you good career opportunities.

Hi I have help me how to prepare neet exam from physics and how to gain full marks please help me

viraj patvardhan 12th Aug, 2025

Scoring full marks in NEET Physics (https://student.sharprevise.com/app/) isn’t just about covering the syllabus — it’s about mastering concepts, practicing smart, and simulating the real exam pressure.

Start with NCERT Physics for Class 11 & 12. Make sure every formula, derivation, and concept is crystal clear — especially in Mechanics, Electrostatics, and Modern Physics. After theory, jump into topic-wise practice . Many toppers I know follow the 3R rule: Revise → Recall → Reattempt .

For the “exam-day feel”, I personally suggest using mock tests that adapt to your performance . For example, SharpRevise AI (https://sharprevise.com/home) creates personalized test series that focus more on your weak areas and mimic NEET’s difficulty level. The instant analysis helps you see why you made mistakes and how to fix them.

The secret? Daily problem-solving + targeted revision + simulated mocks . Do this for 3 months consistently, and Physics won’t feel like the toughest section anymore — it’ll become your scoring area
