i am a bsc physics student . for cuetpg i applied for a paper MTQP10 electrical power and energy engineering. My doubt if i write the exam will i get admission for that course. what is the eligibility criteria for this course

As a B.Sc. Physics student, eligibility for Electrical, Power, and Energy Engineering (MTQP10) through CUET-PG depends on the university.

Key Points:

Most M.Tech programs require a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electrical or related fields.

Some universities may accept B.Sc. Physics graduates, but additional bridge courses might be required.

Check individual university eligibility criteria before applying.

If your degree isn’t directly eligible, consider applying for M.Sc. or interdisciplinary programs in related fields.

Im in gseb board english medium took pcb, to be eligible for NEET 50% score is needed, now does that mean I have to score 50 marks in physics chem and bio each subject individually? and is the practical marks added in it for the neet criteria are the practical marks considered with the theory marks for neet ?

Prachi Kumari 4th Mar, 2025

Hey Diya !

You do not need to score 50 marks in each subject individually. Here’s how the NEET eligibility criteria work:

  1. Aggregate Score : You need at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined (for general category).
  2. Practical Marks Included : Both theory and practical marks are considered together for calculating the PCB aggregate.
  3. No Subject-wise Requirement : There is no rule that you must score 50% in each subject separately.
  4. Category Relaxation : SC/ST/OBC candidates require 40% , and PwD candidates need 45% in PCB aggregate.

Focus on scoring well across all subjects combined. Best of luck !
