Physics
Hello,
Yes, B.Sc. Radiotherapy graduates are generally eligible for M.Sc. in Medical Physics, but it depends on the specific university and their admission criteria.
Some universities may require a specific percentage in physics as a major subject, while others may consider the overall background in physics and biology from the B.Sc. in Radiotherapy program.
The number of seats and fees vary significantly between institutions.
Thank you!!
(DNGC) located in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, does not provide an M.Sc. in Physics. The college offers solely undergraduate science degrees, specifically a B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Botany–Zoology, through its Science department.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Hello Aspirant,
Dera Natung Government College (DNGC), Itanagar does not offer an M.Sc. in Physics. It provides only undergraduate programs such as B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Mathematics under its Science department. You can check some other colleges that offer MSC in physics.
All the best for your career.
Hello Mr. Vijay Subramanian,
Both the Engineering Physics (EP) program at IIT Hyderabad and the MS degree in ECE at IIIT Hyderabad will be great options, it depends on your daughter's interests and long-term commitments.
Select Engineering Physics at IITH if she is:
Select MS ECE at IIITH if she is:
Key Considerations:
If she is unsure for a long-term commitment to research, EP at IITH is more open-ended. If she is certain she wants research opportunities in ECE, then IIITH MS program will not be a mistake.
Hello amrinder !
Congratulations on getting selected for an interview at IISc. Your IISc material engineering ( M.Tech research/ Ph.D.) interview results will be declared only on the IISc admission portal not on COAP.
Secondly if you are selected the offer letter must be accepted through the IISc admission portal itself not via COAP.
COAP is used only for course based M.Tech/M.Des not for M.Tech (research) or Ph.D.
Hello Tanuj,
Choosing between B.Sc. in Physics and B.Tech depends on your career goals. If you join an NIT for a physics-related branch in B.Tech, you’ll likely get specializations like Engineering Physics or Materials Science, which combine physics concepts with engineering applications. This path often leads to careers in research, technology companies, or higher studies in applied sciences. On the other hand, a pure B.Sc. in Physics focuses more on theoretical understanding and can lead to research, academia, or specialized master’s programs. In terms of placements, B.Tech generally offers more direct corporate opportunities, while B.Sc. students may have to study further for higher-paying jobs. Since NITs are reputed, either option will add value, but if you want a strong mix of industry exposure and academics, B.Tech might be better.
Thank you,
Hii

You can try other ways: - Explore Unofficial sources: Social Media or groups that other students recommend. - Leverage coaching Material: Some coaching centres or online study apps may offer sample or mock papers. - You must focus on syllabus based preparation: make you study plan and practice every day.
You can check following private colleges in Delhi-NCR that offer M.Sc in Medical Physics: - Amity University, Noida: Total cost would be 2.4 lakhs foe entire course. They hold strong placement outcomes with highest package of 35.5 lakhs and average 9.6 lakhs - Mahamaya Technical University, Noida: a good reputed college and about fees structure you can check on official website. - Lingaya's Vidyapeeth, Delhi - Gurukul Institute of Management and Technology, Delhi
