I want to be a demonstrator or tutor in physiology at your college.I have passed MD physiology from Bankura sammilani Medical College at 2016.Is there any scope for me!

Mibin Mathew Mammen 9th Jun, 2020

Dear Ramit,

Thank you for your query. You will not be able to get employment in my college as it does not have a course in Physiology. But you can try for being a tutor in Psychology. There is also a lot of scope for MD in Physiology as you can be a professor or a Physiologist. You can also be a researcher.

All the best

i am an physiology honours student and also in my final year. i want to pursue my m.sc in biotechnology. can this possible? can you please recommend some colleges?

Awanya Dabas 5th Apr, 2020

Hey!

In general, according to the M.Sc. Biotechnology eligibility criteria the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Biological sciences, BAMS, BHMS, BPT, or any other related discipline.

Though the eligibility criteria for different institutes is different, but in general, you can not opt for M.Sc. Biotechnology after B.Sc. Physiology.

Hope this answer helps!

is there any chance to go for clinical side after completing MD.physiology

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 21st Feb, 2020

Post M.D Physiology, you can work as a Doctor on the basis of your MBBS degree. You can either set up your own clinic or work in an already established Superspeciality or Multi speciality or various other Health Care settings. On the basis of your MD Physiology, you can become a professor in a Medical College.

I am a 1st yr mbbs student. I want to know which are the best rated MCQ books for 1.) Anatomy 2.) Physiology 3.) Biochemistry please do reply :-)

Srijika Bhattacharyya 18th Feb, 2020
Hello,
The best mcq books for neet pg are:
Anatomy- Rajesh kaushal/raviraj
Physiology- Krishna Kumar( CRISP)
Biochemistry- Rebecca james
Make sure you have read the standard books like BD Chaurasia/Vishram Singh for anatomy, GK Pal/ AK Jain for physiology and Satyanarayan/Vasudevan for biochemistry before attempting to read mcq books.
You can also read certain topics you do not understand from the standard reference books like Grey's anatomy, Guyton/Ganong and Harper/Lippincott.
I would suggest read the textbook first then read the mcq books and solve questions.
Hope this helps.
