Hello there!
See for getting a private medical seat in any medical college in India one need to clear the NEET cut off. They generally ask for a grade above than the cut off to take a seat in the medical college in India.
Generally a score above 550+ is considered safe for getting a good medical college seat.

What is the fee structure if you get a free seat in private medical college?

SREYASHI SEN 19th Aug, 2021

Hey Pretty,

Your query is a little perplexing because there isn't a single private college in India that gives a free MBBS seat.

So, let's assume that when you asked about a "free seat," you meant whether you'd be able to get into a private college through a merit list, which assigns seats based on the fee structure established by the Fee Regulatory Committee of various states.

However, keep in mind that there is no such thing as a low or subsidised cost structure at private medical colleges. Regardless of how you get into a private medical college, you should expect to pay roughly 40–50 lakhs (or more) for your degree.

If you want to do MBBS and can afford this much money, you should consider it. At the end of the day, it's just an investment in your future.

Hope it helps,

Please feel free to comment below if you have any doubts, I will be glad to answer.

Regards.

government seats in private medical college in karnataka

Subhrajit Mukherjee 18th Jul, 2021

I think you want to ask about the Government Quota seats. The seats in private colleges are reserved in two ways one is government quota i.e., based on government guidelines some seats are reserved for Backward class and category student and in management seats, its all about paying money and getting a seat.

Now in Karnataka there are 2900 seats in Government Medical Colleges and 6595 seats in Private medical colleges. Now based on your category you will be alloted the seat provided you should have valid NEET score and you clear the cut off for the examination.
