Hello Sir/Maam, what would be the total percentage of refundable fees from private medical college if he /she is st category student?

iammohdshareef 24th Dec, 2020

If depends on the the type of facility the College is providing. If the college has reimbursement facility then almost 50% of fees gets refunded and if the college doesn't have any kind of reimbursement facility then you must go with scholarship . Scholarship amount depends on the matks, depending on you marks the amount will be refunded. So must check with the College providing facility

Hello Aspirant,

See generally Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal conducts only two rounds of NEET Counselling for state quota of Telangana but if needed then mop-up round can also be conducted and there is no any update about it till till now. But on such marks and category you have good chances of getting government seat in some medical colleges in Telangana under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

I am from up and I want to admission in private medical college in kerala with neet 420 no. It is possible

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th Dec, 2020

There are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. So if you belong to UP, you cannot participate in Government Quota seats and your only option would be Management Quota seats. Even if you have reservation, you still have to apply under General Category as you do not have the Kerala's domicile. With a score of 420, you might get a seat in BDS and not in MBBS. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Can i do internship from government hospital, after doing my B. school radiology from private medical college and hospital?

DrTeeth 20th Dec, 2020
Hi! I would like to inform you that, even though you canapply for an internship in a government hospital after completing your bachelors in radiology from a private institute, it cannot be 100% assured that you'll be selected. This is because govt. institutes give an upper hand to the past pupils.

Ive got admission in private medical college in 1st round in maha counselling . In 2nd round there was no change in college. For being eligible for mop up round should I cancel the admission , will I be refunded the dd ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Dec, 2020

Pranav, According to the official information brochure https://view.mahacet.org/mahacet/admin/news_document/FinalNEETUG%202020%20Informationrochure04112020.pdf, the rules for mop up are as follows:

Candidates who are eligible for the Mop Up Round:

  • Candidates who were allotted a seat and were admitted in Round 1 and Round 2 and secured the admission but did not fill the status retention form.
  • Those Candidates who have been waitlisted and whose choice was not available during Round 1 and Round 2.

Candidates who are not eligible for the Mop Up Round:

  • Candidates who have been allotted a seat but haven't joined.
  • Candidates who have filled the Status retention form.
  • Candidates  who joined and resigned from the seats allotted.

Now if you have been allotted a seat in Round 1 and the same seat was allotted again in Round 2, the question is did you fill the status retention form. If you did, then you are not eligible for the Mop Up Round. But if you did not fill the Status retention form and you meet the other eligibility criteria that have been mentioned here, then you are eligible for the mop up round.

So you can not apply for it.
