Hello my marks are 472 in neet 2020 from ews category can i get admission in any private medical college of maharashtra...since i have not been allotted any college in first round of my state counselling

fazilatfatima728 18th Nov, 2020

Hello

It's tough but still

You can try state counselling to find a government college in mbbs, but I would suggest you to even try Dental and ayurvedic, so that you get a relief.

Fees structure depends on the college , it is alloted by government to the cllgs and many times it gets different according to caste and income.

You can try College predictor to know the your chances in specific college according to your rank and caste

IS it compulsory to live in hostel for 5years while pursuing MBBS from private medical college like SGRRM COLLEGE ?????

iammohdshareef 14th Nov, 2020
No, it's not mandatory for you to stay in hostel and persue MBBS. If your home is nearby to the college and you can attend the classes on time you can travel up and down daily from home without staying in hostel. But if your home is too far and if it takes Lotta time for traveling you need to stay in hostel for compulsory. MBBS is course which need full attention and shouldn't miss any of the class. So it's upon your situation.

Hey,

Last year the cut off for general category ( open category ) was a rank of 97845 for medical colleges under Maharashtra State Counselling. So based on this, you have very little chances of getting admission in this new college. Dear aspirant

As you have deposited security money only 30k you were eligible for only govt medical College. If you have to participate in 2nd round counseling for Private colleges then you will have to pay a CTS bank draft of 2 lakh in name of DIRECTOR GENERAL MEDICAL EDUCATION & TRAINING,UP. PAYABLE AT LUCKNOW only during the document verification on nodal center as you have allocated in first round. After paying the bank draft of 2 lakh then only you will be eligible for the Private medical college in second round of Uttar Pradesh.

sir, kya medhavi chatra yojna mai private medical college me har saal annual income show krna pdta hai ?

Abhishek Singh Tomar 12th Nov, 2020

Yes every when you pay fees every year you have to show it to the institute The students enrolling in any program at a government/non-government college will receive full fees for the course. However, the students enrolling in a private college will receive INR 1.5 Lakh or actual course fee (whichever is less).

For verification process

Admitted candidate will submit his application form along with documents to the institute for verification purpose. • Respective institute will verify the application of the candidate against the original documents. Institute will also verify the bank details submitted, whether fee has been paid or not and other details. • Institute will recommend the eligible cases for sanction/ temporarily reject the applications for want of some information or reject the cases. • Institute will upload the signed and stamped scholarship recommendation proposal on the portal for the designated sanctioning authority

Anurag Khanna 12th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course you can apply for any of the asked college either it is linguistic minority private medical colleges or any private medical college under state quota.

Some linguistic minority medical colleges in Karnataka are enlisted below :-

  • A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences
  • MVJ Medical College & Research Hospital
  • Navodaya Medical College
  • Raja Rajeshwari Medical College & Hospital
  • Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Medical College

On such rank and category you have good chances of getting some medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

  • Great Eastern Medical School, Srikakulam
  • Gayathri Vidya Parishat Inst. Of Health care Medical Technology, Visakhapatnam
  • Maharaja Inst. of Medical Sciences, Vizianagaram

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-ap

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

kya last year Madhya Pradesh ke private medical college mein ews quota tha ?

Pavithra Ganesan 11th Nov, 2020

Hello!

According to the government policy introduced in 2019, 10% of the total seats were to be reserved for GEN-EWS candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS colleges in India.

(https://www.collegedekho.com/articles/neet-ug-mbbs-bds-aiq-seat-matrix/) However, only State Government Medical Colleges, Central Universities/ Institutes and National Institutes were part of the EWS reservation in 2019.

neet 2020 ke liye Madhya Pradesh ke private medical college mein ews quota h ?

kritiesse 11th Nov, 2020

Hello ,

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to the State Government, asking it to reply on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) which challenges non-implementation of economically weaker section (EWS) quota in private colleges. Also, not every Private Medical College qualifies for EWS reservation because their Management quota takes a hit.

Maybe it will be present in coming years, let's hope for the best.

Good luck!!
