Private Medical College
Hello Aspirant ,
An exact data on the number or percentage of government and private college students who cracked NEET PG exam is not available . It will be difficult to find that but if you are asking this question to know whether private college students crack the PG exam competing with the government college students, then yes. A lot of private college students performs very well in the exam and secure top government PG medical seats like AIIMS. The NEET PG exam is different from the UG exam . Irrespective of the type of college in which you do your UG if you practice and prepare well, with a lot of dedication you can definitely crack it.In the recent exam a total of 1,60,888 candidates appeared while 89,549 aspirants cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG).

hello,
According to my information, 5% of seats of Govt Quota shall be reserved for Kannada Medium Candidates. Hyderabad-Karnataka Region comprising the districts of Gulbarga, Bidar, Raichur, Yadgirellary shall be regarded as the local area. 70% seats of colleges within this area are allotted to local candidates. But these seats are not available in all colleges. Only a few colleges host them. And since yes, the fee is 1.1 lakh or even less, the competition is very high! Not to mention, the beneficiary of these Seats are only who hold the domicile of Karnataka.
P lease check the details of the college you want to apply to for better insights and whether they have government quota or not. Also, please keep an eye on the website for the important dates! Besides, there's nothing wrong in sitting for the counseling. If you get selected, kudos to you! God forbid, if not, you can Always drop And try again next year if you have alot of passion for this stream.
Hope this helped. good luck for your future!!
Hello AKHILSHARMA,
Based on previous year cut-off, to attain a seat in a government college, a candidate is required to score a minimum of 450 marks in NEET. As you belong to reserved category therefore the SC/ST/OBC cut-off score was 146-113 .
Under 15% all india quota, you need to score more than 480 marks in neet to get seat. As you have got 93957 rank so you might not have a chance for getting the seat in government college but you can go for private colleges.
