Private Medical College
hi,
see private medical colleges donot participate in all india counselling process, however karnataka is a open state and candidates from other state may participate in karnataka neet counselling. however you may also go for management quota admission in private medical colleges, but fees may varies year to year and also it is quite larger then general candidates fees curriculum. some of the best private medical college of karnataka is,
Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore
St John's National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore
JSS Medical College, Mysore
MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore
Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum
Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Karnataka is an Open State and so you can participate in its State Counselling because Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. So if you want to secure a seat in KMC, you need to appear for State Counselling only because KMC is still a Deemed to be University and not a Deemed University yet. So you have to attend its State Counselling. And with OBC reservation, you should score nothing less than 500 for a seat in a Private Medical College. Hello,
Fee structure is same for every category students. reservation category will only help to lower general rank so that students will be eligible for more college options.
There will be change in fees only if students has applied for TFW where student don't have to pay tution fee per year but have to pay rest of the fee structure. students under same course have same fee structure and it is applicable for everyone.
Hope it helps!
Hello student,
Actually during the form filling process you just need to upload your photograph and signature. The time of examination you need to carry the photocopy of MCI registration certificate and original screening test pass certificate.
As you have lost your certificate you should directly contact to the the place in where you completed your internship. Hope this will help you
Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. In 2019, under State Quota, 506 marks secured a seat in Shri Ramkrishna Institute. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. So for a seat in this College you will need atleast 550 and above. This is for Govt. Quota in Medical Colleges.
Hi
In neet 2019, 506 marks was the lowest marks that was required for general category for getting a government quota seat in private medical college under west bengal state quota and it was for SHRI RAMKRISHNA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES AND SANAKA HOSPITALS But cut off marks keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc. So , you should try to get at least around 520 marks to be on the safer side in your neet examination to get Government quota seat for mbbs in private medical college Thank you
