Im expecting a score of 380-400 in neet 2022. Are there any private medical colleges which have a decent fee and patient load?

Karishma Sawhney 31st Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

With a score of 380-400, you have chances of getting only a private/deemed college. You can have a look at the private colleges you can get into, based on previous year's cut off-

KD Medical College, Mathura- 378

Rama Medical College- 382

Heritage Medical College, Varanasi- 398

Noida International Medical College- 350

All these colleges have an annual fee of 12.5 lakh- 15 lakh (not including hostel, mess and other charges). Deemed universities have a yearly fee of 18-25 lakh, which is quite expensive.

My sons marks in Neet 2022 as per unofficial key is 588 which all private medical colleges is he eligible in Karnataka under general merit

Aakanksha 3rd Aug, 2022
Hi aspirant
At a score of 588 you can expect your rank to be around 23k-24k as it was in NEET 2021.
However this year may differ as the cut off changes every year. More or less it will remain the same.
You can predict your rank for NEET 2022 using our rank predictor by using the link provided here.

At this rank you have a hard luck finding seats in government medical colleges of your state. However you do have an option of opting for private medical colleges in Karnataka.
Here is a list of the best private  medical colleges in Karnataka.
  • KMC Mangalore - Kasturba Medical College
  • St Johns Medical College, Bangalore
  • KMC Manipal - Kasturba Medical College
  • MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore
  • VIMS Bangalore - Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre
  • KIMS Bangalore - Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences
  • JNMC Belgaum - Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College
  • Dr BR Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore
  • JSS Medical College, Mysore
  • Raja Rajeshwari Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore
  • Father Muller Institute of Medical Education and Research, Mangalore
Now since you have not mentioned what category you belong to, I can't be too precise with the information.
Hope this helps
All the best.

I am scoring between 490 and 515. Can I get any Government Dental Colleges or Private Medical Colleges in West Bengal?

Sayan 24th Jul, 2022

Hello,

Congratulations, You did a good job.

People predict that the cutoff will increase from last year. The cutoff score for the UR category at the Govt Medical College last year was 517, AIR 39K. So, if somebody earns a rank inside around 40K, he will be given a government seat in West Bengal.

Still, I believe that a score between 490 and 515 will guarantee admission to a government medical institution in West Bengal. Although you must wait till the findings are released for verification. Don't forget to request for an upgrade in later rounds if you try state counselling until the very final round.

will there be 50% fee reduction in private medical colleges for mbbs for 2022-23 year onwards?

Sanjana 28th Jun, 2022

Hey aspirant

Its not 50% fee reduction, government issued an order which states that, private colleges should only charge government fees to 50% merit students. Management can charge fee to other 50%. This will help to reduce competition in NEET and allow students coming from financially weeker society to secure a seat. Not sure whether this will implement 2022-2023 or will it take more years.
