Pawandeep Kaur 2nd Jul, 2019
Hi dear
Product Design Courses. ... In the various courses that the learners pursue, the emphasis is on learning-by-doing and following a comprehensive process of designing, producing and marketing products, systems and services. Of the many Product design coursesin India the Product Design Programs at MITID are unique.
Jobs roles in this sector include:
  • Advertising art director.
  • Clothing/textile technologist.
  • Ergonomist.
  • Furniture designer.
  • Industrial/product designer.
  • Materials engineer.
  • Product manager.
  • Product/process development scientist.
The minimum education requirement for product designers is usually a bachelor's degree. Common majors include industrial design, engineering and architecture. Many programs require that students complete one year of basic art and design courses, such as principles of design and sketching, during their freshman year.
Best of Luck!!

After doing B.des(humanizing technology) in NMIMS do I get skills of a product designer as my daughter wants to do only product designing?

Tamajit Biswas Student Expert 3rd Aug, 2019

Hi Vijayalakshmi,

If you have completed your undergraduate degree studies in product designing then after the completion of the course you are a product designer and most likely would possess the knowledge and skills of the same. Similarly, B.Des is a course of humanizing technology and not product designing and thus they both won't be the same.

BEST WISHES!
