Hello student,
Teaching is one of the noble profession in the world. It helps to share knowledge to students, a professor helps you glide your way to success. They inspire us, share their knowledge, motivates us.
In order to become a professor in India, you have to follow a few steps:
1. You need to complete your senior secondary be it sciencence/arts/commerce.
2. You can persu e graduation in the subject of your interest.
3. You can choose a subject for your master’s you want to expertise in.
After completion of yourmaster’s you are eligible to appear for NET examination (National Eligibility Test) that is conducted by UGC (University Grants Commision) twice a year in June and December. you must secure a minimum of 55% in your masters to be eligible to write this examination
Apart from NET, you can even go for SLET (State Level Eligibility Test). The basic difference between the two is if you clear NET exam you are eligible to apply for assistant professor post in any university across the country, on the other hand, candidates who clear SLET exam work with state-level universities, colleges, institutions.
Few changes were made in 2016 by UGC, it has mentioned amendment for candidates who has PhD degree. Such candidates are exempted from writing the NET examination to become a professor.
NET is basic qualification criteria needed to become a professor in a university, however, a few renowned universities across India such as IITs have conditions ,when you want to apply to such institutions for the position of a professor one must hold a PhD degree and along with that they prefer to have a few years of work experience along with clearing NET examination.

Hello,
B.Sc ( Bachelor of Science) is a three years Undergraduate Courses. And you don't need to appear for JEE MAINS or JEE ADVANCED to get Admission into a BSc Course. JEE MAINS is conducted to offer Admission in various Undergraduate Engineering courses such as B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) or B.E (Bachelor of Engineering). The duration of any Course is four years.
Now, JEE MAINS is conducted the offer Admission into various NITs (National Institute of Technology) GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutions) and IIITs (Indian institute of Information Technology). Whereas to get a seat in IITs JEE ADVANCED is conducted. Remember only those candidates can appear for JEE ADVANCED who qualify JEE MAINS. To qualify JEE MAINS, Candidates have to Rank among the top 250000 rankers.
If you don't want to go for B.Tech then why want to appear for JEE MAINS and Advanced. You just need to appear for any entrance exam (If University accepts Admission on the basis of entrance exam) or your admission will be done through merit basis, it totally depends on the University you're willing to take admission into.
Good Luck.
