Hi, your CGPA is good enough. Coming to your GRE score it falls under the range for Johns Hopkins university. Try getting 1 LOR from HOD if you already have that great. Usually everyone takes LOR from PhD holders of the college. So, you see if you have those. The LOR from an IIT Professor will have a great impact. Make sure that you enhance and write about your paper in detail in the LOR as well. Your internships are great. You can also ask them to give you an LOR. If not it is ok. Overall this person has a chance of getting into the college as their range of accepting marks of GRE is around 150. Hope this helps.
Dear Adbhutam,
Yes, you can be an assistant professor. You are eligible for it. But, you must need to have knowledge to teach first. Some institutes even demand experience of teaching the specific subject you are going to teach in. So, you can enquire from the respected institute/University as well. Spme Universities demand similar degree which has to be studied. It varies from University to university. Feel free to drop any query related to this or else.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck :)

Only the marks secured in TS EAMCET will matter . Hence, this year the calculation of rank will be done in a different way. Dear aspirant,
To become a physics professor a research degree along with a PhD is a must. You should pass your 10+2 with either PCB or PCM with a minimum first class. Then you must complete a three year bachelor degree, in your case BSc Physics will be the degree to be completed with a minimum first class.
Then the student can apply for a masters which will help them prepare better for the PhD degree they are about to take and get the exposure needed, gives the students more in-depth knowledge of physics as compared to a bachelors degree.
Next, write GATE exam and try to achieve a high rank , if your focus is studying at IIT institutions. If you do not want to study at IIT, and want to consider other institutions then a UGC-NET score/ CSIR score is essential. You are also expected to have passed UGC-JRF to be eligible for monthly stipend during PhD.
Once you have completed your PhD you can move on to teaching at various institutions and universities as an Assistant Professor at the start and then slowly be promoted to the position of professor.
For studying Physics, you can consider top institutes from India like
IIS
IIT Kanpur
IIT Kharagpur
University of Delhi
University of Mumbai
University of Calcutta
VIT University
hope this helps!
