hi,
see since there is no batches till passed from this institute it would be best if you go for some of the other institute, even if it is a part on xaviour university, some times placement is no great in all courses of the same university. before taking admission to any college , college reviews by students, placement records matters most. if it would be an govt. institute I may suggest you to go, but since it is private and fees structure is quite high in private organization, ao before Investing your money and time you have to think wisely. try to get admission in tier 1 colleges where is decent placement record.
hope it would help.
Placements in SRM are good , but most of the get placed with minimum package.many students get placed with average package of around 3-4 lacs package. Many good companies visit the campus.
They have a placement cell which help students to get placed in good companies. Popular companies like Amazon, Wipro, Mahindra, Royal Enfield , Infosys, cognizant etc
SRM is well known known for its computer science related branches, so CSE and IT students mostly have 100% placement. Placement in civil engineering are comparatively low.

While filling up the form for jee mains, you should apply for TFW or Tuition Fee Waiver. This might help to reduce your college fees to some extent after admission. Also if your college has any scheme for scholarships, then you can given exams and with a brilliant result, you tuition fees can be made absolutely free. However, this completely depends on the your college. So it is advised that you should talk to your college authorities about this.
