Is getting a degree in bsc industrial chemistry ( bsc degree voccational course) same as btech chemical engineering for promotion purposes?

thakurvishesh1 5th Jul, 2022

See, the truth is that no matter if a normal BSc person and a B.Tech Chemical Engineer do the same work, but in most of the places the Chemical Engineer guy will be favoured. In the work culture of most of the companies, educational qualification holds very high weightage, so in these corporations, a BSc in Chemistry is not the same as a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Bank me promotion ke liye kya Post graduation dekhte hai kya???

Anushri Varshney 24th Apr, 2022

Hi there,

Promotions in any field or a company usually depends upon the work experience of the candidate.

Having a masters degree will surely provides an upper edge to an individual in terms of their career but you must know the details of your masters degree as well just completing a degree is not enough.

It doesn't matter whether you have masters or not if you are skilled then surely you will get promotion.

I hope this answer will help you. Revert in case of any doubt.

Thank you!!!

I have joined railway job in 2018 as group d .Now I have got promotion as technician 3 but my qualification is 12 pass with commerce stream. Is there any scope of becoming junior engineer by promotional quota or what else I should try in future for benefit of myself in future?

Aashiketa 29th Dec, 2021

Hi, for being an Junior Engineer in Indian Railways you need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical degree Diploma works too. So, you can either give exams or complete your degree from Distance learning. That way you get to do your job and you get to study as well and get a degree. That way you will be eligible and since you've been working for many years there are high chances of getting a better place. Hope this helps.
