What will be the rank if I scored 92.66% (PCM) in PUC and 144 in KCET 2022

vyshnava kumar 18th Jun, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing absolutely great.

So with regard to your query, firstly, the marks scored in PCM will not be considered for the ranking of KCET exam, they are just the qualification marks inorder to eligible for the KCET exam. Secondly, as you had mentioned 144 marks out of 180, so your rank will be between 121 to 130.

Checkout the following link for any information regarding KCET marks and ranks: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-marks-vs-rank

Hope this helps you!!

It is said that KCET 2022 will consider 50% puc marks then what about students of 2021 who took a drop and wrote again this year will their puc marks also be considered ?

Student 18th Jun, 2022

Hi there. In response to your query the students who took a drop year their marks would also be considered regardless they passed previous year examinations. As they would now be competing with the freshers it would be unfair to have different rules for all hence the 50% of marks will be considered for all candidates, regardless of whether it's their drop year or not

What does the college fee depend on, puc or neet or cet result???

Kushagra Singh 21st Jul, 2022

Hi,

College fees do not depend on entrance tests like NEET, CET etc., It is based on category of the college that is either government or private. More than that, the college do charges for the facilities it provides like well furnished library, well educated teachers, a good staff etc.

It also depends on the infrastructure of the college and number of students usually takes admission out of all available seats.

If you want to save your money, I will suggest you to go for government college. But if you are not getting a top government college, and want placement then go for top private colleges instead. It depends on your plans, if your goal is to study further you can choose lower rank government colleges also.

Thank you!

Hi , Currently I am NRI studying in CBSE 8th class outside india. I am from Karnataka and I want to give NEET exam for studying MBBS in karnatka. If I study 10th and PUC from karnatka and I am permanent residence of Karnataka , Am I eligible for 85% state quota ?

rajeevanand843 16th Jul, 2022

Hello ayush

To apply for admission of Karnataka MBBS students must belong to Karnataka domicile. Outside Karnataka students can apply for open and other quota seats in private colleges. Under the following criteria Karnataka domicile students can apply for Karnataka MBBS 2021 admission to government seats.

  • Candidates who have studied for minimum seven years from a government or government recognized institution in Karnataka are eligible.
  • Candidates who have passed class 11 and 12 from Karnataka and whose parents have studied for seven years in Karnataka are eligible.
  • Candidates and either parent having Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava as mother tongue are eligible. Such candidates will have to undergo a Kannada language test.
  • Son/daughter of defence personnel who have passed class 11 and 12 from Karnataka are eligible

So according to domicile rule you must pass your class 10th and 12th from any institutions in Karnataka state then there is necessary seven year of education in Karnataka state either you or either parents should have studied for seven years in karanataka then only you will be eligible for 85% quota seat in Karnataka.

Ive taken PCME in 2 PUC, apart from engineering what are the other degree course?

Jyoti Eyasmin 11th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Following the completion of your PCME group, you have the choice to pursue the engineering branch.
However, You can apply separately for the Army, Navy, and Air Force. You can pursue a career in the merchant navy, architecture, commercial pilot training, computer science, information technology, math, statistics, actuarial science, pure applied science, and physical training.

I would advise you to take the Ideal Career Aptitude Test offered by career360.com so you can learn more about the type of career you should pursue and then receive one-on-one guidance from a counsellor.

Hope this helps.

i am a IIIT student i heard that bits take students on basis of the 12 th marks but i have not completed my puc course at..i have a sem incomplte can i apply for bits.?

thakurvishesh1 6th Jul, 2022

See, BITS Pilani (All the campuses at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad) only consider the admission of those people through the board marks scheme who have topped their respective boards exams.

For example if there are two persons, on is the 1st rank of CBSE board and the second is 2nd ranker in the same boards, then BITS will only offer the admission to the first person. If you are the topper of board, you can easily apply at BITS. All the best!
