Hey aspirant,
You get admission to Puducherry Engineering College through JEE mains score or CENTAC. It neither is a NIT or IIIT but it comes under Government Funded Techincal Institutions I.e. GFTIs. Henceforth the scores of JEE mains are acceptable.
Hope this helps you.
Hello,
The NEET results were announced and the score card were provided in which there were information regarding candidate name, All India rank and All India category rank and score etc. And the seats are allotted on the basis of All India rank instead of category ranks.
So you must specify your All India rank for better prediction of suitable colleges. For college options at your score and rank you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool which provides you elaborate information regarding the suitable colleges:

Dear Student,
IIIT is a IIIT no one come in comparison with it. And to answer your question IIIT Sonepat is a far better place to study than NIT Puducherry. If you see the placements , infrastructure and teaching facility IIIT Sonepat is way ahead than NIT Puduchery.
Hope I can help you out.
See NIT Puducherry is much better in terms of academics than TIU, Kolkata. So if you want to get a better infrastructure and academic environment, NIT Puducherry will be better.
Now you know CS have a good value in the market. The placement ration of TIU is moderate for CS and the packages aren't that great (Rs. 3.2LPA to 5LPA) compared to this NIT PUDUCHERRY is much better. The average placement package is around Rs. 6LPA and also you will get both core and non-core job scopes. So even if you want to go for the IT or software then NIT PUDUCHERRY can also offer you job in that field also as the curriculum of NIT PUDUCHERRY is better than TIU.
Now its your choice.

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.
See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.
So on such marks you have very low or almost no chances to get any of the medical colleges under state quota of Puducherry. But on such score you can go for some Deemed Institutions through AIQ counselling, so as per the previous years data you can go for following deemed institutions through AIQ counselling :-
JLN Medical College, Datta Meghe, Wardha:- 239 marks
Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and RI, Puducherry:- 231 marks
Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute, Kancheepuram:- 215 marks
GITAM:- 197 marks
Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospt., Puducherry:- 192 marks

It's quite difficult to predict cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors. 400 is considered a good score in the NEET exam. With a 300 score, there are low chances that you may make it to government medical college.

Since you are a native of Tamilnadu, you can definitely apply for Tamilnadu college counselling. If you have studied at Puducherry till 12th std, you can avail a domicile certificate and that will make you eligible to apply for Centac in Jipmer as well. At both Tamilnadu and Puducherry, you will be eligible for 85% reservation in home state quota.
I hope this helps.
